I use a salad spinner to remove excess water helps it dry way faster
Yes! I probably should just go get one to help make it easier
@@JJJBricks i live in the UK, so i dont know if they have something called a salad spinner but ill google it
ohh i see i have one downstairs thanks for the tip
Yeah it’s handy!
Never left a comment for the algorithm.
So here it is.
That castle part is a nice find, ive found some absolute gems in bulk over the years, maybe the other boxes will through up even better stuff
Haha thanks buddy. I want to clean more parts to find more gems! But I'm worried about my space.....
That dress is from the CMF series 7 called 'Bride'.
Ahhh good to know! I need to use the brickognize app more. I might be able to use that for a lady fig in the castle MOC if I can find the right torso to match
It must be fulfilling when you clean them and get to dump out the dirty water!
So much yes. It also makes it feel like those parts are mine now. Ready for their next adventure!
18:44 - Part number 47990. Looks like it comes from the Indiana Jones, troll mtn, loot island, sets in that color but only comes in 7 sets. I recognized it from the HP graveyard from 2005, though that one is white in that set. $4 used 8$ new roughly before shipping.
Also 16:15 looks like it's lego Atlantis under 3$ new.
Hey thanks! It’s such a fun experience looking through parts and finding interesting things! Just leads to more discovery of sets and Lego history!
I use those cascade pods with super hot water, let it soak and then jet hose it to agitate
Oh interesting just mix the pod into like a bucket of water?
The little guy has to be Lando that was my first thought.
Yeah I thought so too!
I just did the exact same thing this week. What do you do with all the non-brick toys? I'm fascinated by all the random bits and bobs. I want to lay them out, and take a picture. Have you seen those (kids?) books where you search for different items? Kind of like a "finding Waldo" scenario? That's what I envision.
Mostly the non brick toys I find are either broken or damaged in some way. I usually recycle them. That would be fun to take a pic though of it all laid out and have your kids find all the non-Lego
Google lens is awesome for looking up Lego parts. I use it to figure out minifig parts.
Yes! I use that occasionally too. I haven't tried it but Brickognize has been said a few times too.
3rd party bricks and trash are definitely the worst part of buying bulk. It amazing how good you can get at identifying slight variations of finish, color and sound that help you find the fake lego.
Totally! I love the hunt and finding new parts I have never seen before! It's such great Lego research!
Bulk Lego is like Christmas to me! I save all the Megabloks bricks and use them in mils plates. If you want to make mils plates on the cheap, you can get 32x32 base plates at Dollar Tree for 1.25 each. I picked up one to try and have to say they are not bad. The good thing is nobody will see them. Decent third-party bricks work well as filler for mocs.
Great tip! Thanks for sharing!
cool video man, keep the good work up
Thank you! Appreciate all the support ❤️
Just bought like 11 pounds on ebay for like 60$ just to try it and 1/3 was mega block. Granted there was lego from 2001/2002 HP that was decently rare, but it just wasn't worth it imo anymore lol.
Unless we make an auto lego sorter with python and a raspberry pi.
Yeah it’s always a hit or miss kinda game. If there aren’t pics, always ask for some to maybe help gauge what’s inside. I’ve found EBay to be a real wildcard when it comes to bulk buying.
Whats the link to the rack you dry the lego on?
I love it! Great for small spaces. Here’s the link! a.co/d/hhqfOQ1
why do i think the red starwars hood is a testprint...
nevermind it is not.
Ooh interesting. What made you think that?
@@JJJBricks i never saw them in red andtestprints are red.
but then i havent had alot off starwars sets here.
Ahh I see!
Wear sunscreen!
I KNOW!!
