I never understood it, I am the type of player that HATES being run over and not being able to do much or generally dying, in every game. But in DAOC it NEVER mattered, I died, got back up went to front for revenge but it never felt unfair and I never got angry. That game was just pure magic , why the hell I ever quit it.
Minute 5.26' Engage a solo norseman, run from it for no reason, turn cam and see a fg coming. Nice radar bro, was amazed by the fact you always had advantage with engages around mazes ^^

Am I "too late" for this? I've checked on a few Theurg videos just to get a feeling for how people play/played the class solo and had to read a lot of comments about you using radar. At 5:24 I've seen something blue popping up on the hill in the far left and thought that you'd either run or die now and you ran. That's not radar, that's good work of keeping an eye on your surroudings. Just saw the comments after I've seen this scene lol Couple very cool fights there. Music in the editing is not my taste, but I'm here for the gameplay, not the music :P Good job back then dude~ (PS: Always good to see people using the classic models, I love them lol)
Crazy skill. But...you have to be using radar to have seen that group inc at 5.26...you responded before they were visible. Would have subbed otherwise. :"/ If I'm wrong, please point out how you saw the group and I'll sub. Still - your skill is certain. Thumbs up.
Adam Russell on my phone atm but I play on a 32" monitor and that spot is the safe drop off so I'm always cautious around there. I seen a glimpse of something, panned and it was a FG...stayed away till it was safe
Subbed. Do you feel theurg is the prime rvr caster? I saw wiz had the self heal which looks nice - cabalist has always seemed brutal - just hate that wiz/cabby have no run speed.
Adam Russell favorite caster is ment by far. I'm messing with a smite cleric now only thing I don't like is the slow cast speed but the utility of a smiter is awesome.

ToejamsDAOC ya lack of heals on a solo caster is tough. But I try to put that arti in every temp I can. Super handy for sure. Just gotta get creative around fitting it
ToejamsDAOC it’s stupid. Main reason I stopped playing mine. Ani has been fun. Think I’m gonna grind out the last 150ish solos on the shaman then dig into the ani full time

May I ask why mentalist over the new pets enchanter or Animist? Pet changes seem pretty nice.
Adam Russell ment still has a ton more utility than the other two. I do like playing my animist but one form of cc is rough
