Hey that was a fun and life affirming vid.....in that, that is 95% of how I would model a tractor tyre! Which is frankly a relief, because I do most of my 3D modeling in a vacuum and have no idea if there is a better way to do something. With the Firestone logo, yeah, Onshape has that annoying "Mirror not mirror" non-feature too. I would've just taken the logo and text and done a revolved copy. around the vertical axis. That would've saved having to redo it or copy and paste the sketch on the other side or whatever.
Your video is what I am looking for. The Steiger tractor is actually the tractor I am making a model tire for in 1/16. I will watch this video a few times to try and draw my own.
The inability to mirror the sidewall lettering does look like an irritant. Is it possible to render the sidewall lettering as a body, then copy it and paste a copy onto the other side? I’ve not tried it myself as I’m away from my PC (plus I’m not at the sidewall details stage yet on any of my tyre projects) so it might not work at all….
Nice job! I always love the Fusion 360 episodes! Got me so inspired, I made my own.... but made it a Russian version to use on my Ukrainian diorama (planning a Ukrainian farm tractor pulling Russian tank that ran out of gas). Wish I could post a pic to show you!

Good stuff. You could also just draw the doughnut section on one side and mirror it, which saves the need to draw both halves individually.

Question. Is this the paid version of fusion 360 or is it the version available for free and personal/ hobby use?
Thanks for this. Ive been wanting to learn Fusion 360 for a while now, and this helps a lot. BTW, 215 mm is the tread width, not the sidewall width.
okay is there any videos related to this like assembling the whole tractor parts and making every single part ?
