Apres do not fit like they should, way too expensive too. I don't use anything before applying them, just whatever glue I am going to use. I used to use the pro bond, it made them pop off easily. My tips stay on for weeks...never any issues. Kokoist sound like the better option for sure. Apres lengths are definitely NOT how they claim they are. Extra short are very long! Have to cut them down every time. Shorts are very long as well...I am going to try Kokoist, thanks to this video, it was very informative. I like that I won't have to sand down the tip with Kokoist.

I’ve actually found apres to be a little too thick for my liking and feel like I do need to finish file around the edges of the tip to really refine them. I’m excited to try gelips!

Thanks for that helpful comment, Jaye. I have short fingers, short nail beds and require short nails. I also like square, which will mean me purchasing the medium and filing down quite a bit. I would love so much to be able to leave the perfectly manufactured tapered free edge, but it's never quite in the cards for me. I do like that Gelip has a more tapered cuticle area already.

Hello Paola, Thank you for this video. I see that you always use 90% alcohol but I can’t seem to find it here in the US. I always see 70% or lower (which I know is a newbie mistake 😉) since I always see 91% or 99%. , What would you recommend?

I’m a huge fan of apres gel x I love their shape and durability and their variety of shapes and colors . I’ve tried the 123 go from enailcoture and was not happy with them at all, so flimsy, I’d like to try the kokoist ones though, are they as durable as the apres gel x nail tips?

Hi Sarah, I am from Germany and I had a quick email-conversation about having a distribution in Europe with Kokoist 2 weeks ago, since I am ordering as well one company from the UK (TGB), I was wondering "IF" kookiest may have a distribution in the UK.
The answer was copy/paste: We will have a distributor in the UK sometime next month as well.
Hope this was a lil' help :-) but you know you can order international from kokoistusa, greetings from Germany Simone
