Cracking video, Chris. Great tip about bending the wires on the breakaway leads I'll give it a go if the wind ever stops blowing. Loving the new camera with the "follow me"mode. Still waiting for the whiting to arrive at Shoreham!

Please tell, me after you have cast and are walking back from the shore letting line off the spool, do you reduce the drag and let the run of the spool with the bail arm closed, or do you put your hand around the spool and feel the line off the spool and apply the bail arm & drag after just before putting the rod back on the rest?

I either back wind, or keep the bail arm open and control the line as it feeds off the spool. If you relase the drag and let the line unspool. It will cause the line to build up twists causing wind knots and tangles.

im armed with a bait needle , only use it with fresh dug lug ,, it does save alot of trouble when fishing a match ,, time is everything ,,

way to far up the beach, tide is way down there. should of moved your tripod yards further down etc. Not good. even if you casted out near the water n walked back.

Never mind cj can't be perfect all the time, like you say opinions are like fanny's, some people have one or one
