Wow - This is akin to finding The Holy Grail! Tim - as a Dan fan of over 40 yrs and since Homefree, this is the best group of videos one could have hoped for. I honestly did not know any pre-Netherlands live video existed !! Thanks, Thanks, Thanks...May I ask - where did it come from...it is a superb professional shooting. Greg Palumbo. I would love it if the entire Netherlands album live had been shot. Very much, Miss Dan Our Man - who became a large part of my life for 4 decades, much like the Beatles, James Taylor, Bruce and the Eagles. (Good Company!!)
❤️
🥀Beautiful song this is the 1ST time I heard this from him! It's amazing on lyrics vocals and music 🥀☝️🥀🕊🥀
I think his tonsils were beginning to make the high notes much more difficult at this point. He pulled this song off very well despite that. What a champ. I love his lilting love songs even when they were sad. At least we knew that someone understood our heartache.
❤️
I never would have thought that I'd ever get to hear (and See !) Dan playing this song Live, it's always been one of my favorites. I don't think you could ever be Thanked enough for posting these priceless videos. Thank you thank you thank you.....😌

One of the greatest songwriters ever
OMG. Thank you for this entire concert upload. I feel like I just found a treasure. This is the fifth video I have listened to of the series you posted, and my heart is pounding listening to this, one of my favorite Dan songs. I miss seeing him live. Thank you, Tim.
STILL SUPERB
Love it!! Thanks for sharing...once again!
God he was so freakin hot 🔥
Love this song!
One of my favorite dan songs♡♥♡
Great song, great musician.
Thanks so much for these posts! Just an unbelievable discovery. Feel so lucky to have seen Dan twice..once during the innocent age tour, and the tour where he was supposd to be w/Timothy B. Schmitt, but the Eagles called him away. Neither time, however, did he play anything off Netherlands, and I couldn't figure out why...such a great record!
southpaw1959channel You are so lucky, I envy you. It was always my dream to see him live and the only dream never filled. I did however manage to buy a dan fogelberg limited edition D41 put out by martin guitars. there were only 130 ever made, a small consolation, but it will have to do.
Both great shows, but the one Dan unofficially called his "unplugged" tour was really special because it was in a smaller venue. Mostly acoustic, but he ripped into some amazing blues stuff, and you got the impression if he led his music in that direction, his voice and playing would have rivaled Clapton. Wonder if their are any lefty D41 DF Martins out there? I envy yours!
Thanks. Nice to know a fellow fan 😆,don't know about the left hand guitar. I picked mine up from the states a few years back. Be well.
I also wonder if Karl Schranz (from Austria) really did give Dan the 12 string, or if that was a joke. Dan was a huge skier and perhaps they once met or were friends. Schranz was a former champion alpine ski racer, one of the best in the 1960s...in history. Only Jean would know I guess. GP
I miss this song. Brings back beautiful memories.
❤️
Lucky people there that night.
The best.
does anyone know how to ply this out of open d? Help me.
