    first time to see your video I love it at once, how can you not love it, you all ride so nice bikes...with regards to the Big ring choice going up before that steep gradient must be very hard...But I know some people choose this for a reason ...some people might not like it but it really depends on every cyclist...I can almost feel how hard to ascend on that gradient..I perspire a bit just watching you all do it...

      Cesar thanks for leaving a comment…of course climbing in the big ring is tough so that’s why it’s fun to challenge ourselves…sometimes we win sometimes we walk LOL…but regardless we enjoy the challenge. Not everyone does it that way many CRZ will shift into front small ring and granny gear it and we are totally ok with that because it presented additional learning opportunity for everyone at the end of the day we have fun we have a challenge and we have a memory

  • @MisuTee

    I know how this feels. There's a similar gradient wall at Vista Real QC probably worse than that but not as long. After one year and several attempts at climbing it with my MTB (not racer), I made it on first gear all the way. Th gradients of San Mateo, going up to Batasan are similar to that. I haven't been able to complete that, too much for me. But maybe u guys can. Great job and effort salute to you all!

      When you mention : spinning and using lower gears wisely - do you mean thats the right and ONLY method in riding steep climbs?
      Properly positioning yourself in a bike to maximize the use of your other muscles ( that you can’t use by spinning ) can only be done at lower RPM. I think it is very clear on this CRZ and other CRZ videos that - that is the point. You just have to be a little more observant not to miss that 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️👍👍😁😁

    • @tommythetankcrzcntrl
      @tommythetankcrzcntrl 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      All CRZ goes through same process. Of course not all are ready for this type of effort and even those that are not, still have confidence to at least try and see how far they can go. Sometimes the experience is better than the outcome 😉 Torque increase and lower cadence is single best way to keep BPM under control! It takes time to develop and also to build those particular muscle groups but the benefits are worth the wait and effort! #tankapproved

By the way, that's not good for the drivetrain (big ring/big cog) because of cross chaining. it will destroy your bike. It's a real thing. Shouldn’t you set up your paying clients to succeed and complete the ride rather than you showboating you can do it? I mean we already know you are a very experienced and strong rider. We like to see your clients complete it not you. We already know you got this. 👍😜

      Bro what are you talking about? I think you have missed the whole point…that’s a whole sea of newbies attacking a climb that most only dream of!! On top of that because you don’t us or Coach you have no idea how much he inspires us and how he pushes us to achieve beyond ourselves. Everyone looking in from the outside always gets it wrong!!! As I’ve said so many times come ride with us see how it feels…better if you are so confident as to your comment come and teach us…sadly no one e ER accepts my invitations 🤣🤣 Easy to criticize from the side but the real work is never done on the side and everyone at CRZ knows to work!!! You see the “agenda” is not focused on what you think but is always focused on the individual that’s why we say Ride Your Ride!!! If you can thought come join-who knows maybe you like it or maybe you love it!!

      Almost a year doing big ring small cog for training rides. My knees are perfectly fine. Quite happy w my progress considering I started from scratch. Oh and btw, I'm definitely not a blind follower. 😜😋 You're welcome to join the rides and try it out sometime.

      @@Taelaruss the only difference is we don't take our cars at the bottom of the climb. We ride 50-60 miles then do the climb. Surrey Hills (google it or watch our videos 😅).

      @@pinoyshortride5195 oh good for you! You must be really strong riders then. I can only hope to improve and perhaps soon can ride steep hills without having to park my car at the bottom of the hill.

      Funny, my tuhod haven't exploded after months and months of training/riding and racing with the same technique, no injuries whatsoever, haven't ecountered any problems aside from your dumbass toxic mindset, btw I'll be glad to test you on a ride the infamous Pinoy Workout🤭
