Hey, nice video! Could this be applied to bathroom walls (plasterboard)?

Nice video, just wondering where I can buy the brush used in the video. I used the normal paint brush and paint roller, they get really stiff quickly after I started painting

Hi Jane, unfortunately we have had to discontinue the brush shown in the video due to ongoing supply issues. However you still might be able to find the odd one at your local hardware store - it's called the Sika BlackSeal Elastic Brush. I understand your comment about using a normal paint brush for the job, and not managing very well! We suggest using something like a PAL Block Brush, they are designed for use on blockwork and aren't too coarse. You should be able to find them at your local hardware store too. Good luck!

@@jarrodhayne560Hayne, we do not suggest using Sika BlackSeal Elastic for your roof. Please contact our Roofing Market Field Manager via the link below and we will be able to advise the best solution for your roof: nzl.sika.com/en/home/contact-us/roofing.html

So basicly it was true all butyl rubber need UV protection thats what they break after 2 years.i use blackseal1/BT together with multiseal tapes to do the job.

      Hi Drincog,
Thank you for your comment on our TH-cam video. However, we wanted to clarify that Blackseal is not a butyl rubber, but rather a bituminous emulsion. It is not designed to provide UV protection and is only intended for below ground applications. Therefore, it may not be suitable for certain above ground applications where exposure to UV radiation is a concern.
We appreciate your interest in our products and hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns

The patching mortar you talk about at the beginning in the tools section - I assume is the same product you use at 2:13 in the flushing section - and, if so, what is this product and where do I get it in NZ? Also, what’s the best product to use to form the “triangular fillet of mortar” mentioned at 2:57? Just a masonry mortar type s? Thanks
