I can honestly say without a single doubt that this is one of the ONLY games I’ve ever played that actually gets better each update. Always stuff elevating what’s already there without ruining its roots. It’s incredible. Love this game, love this team. DYING to play saga! ❤️
This is so exciting! I love the Lost River map, and seeing how much is changing makes it that much more exciting :D And the fact that you'll get to raise your pups there makes it even better!
I love this game. The community is great from what I’ve seen, the game is beautiful and really realistic. The devs are open and honest about what’s going on with the game and don’t use those excuses like “it’s not a bug, it’s a feature” lmao. I don’t really know how it could really get much better honestly, it’s definitely my favourite game

I love how even though you're nowhere near done with this map, you are still showing us progress, so we still get occasional check-ins and activity updates. While I understand just WHY other gaming companies do it, they often go long periods without saying anything until something is done or a few weeks from release. This is usually to keep people's impatient expectations in check or even just to keep some surprises/spoiler-free stuff, but then fans tend to jump to the misunderstanding that they're dead. I love that Wolf Quest has a healthy enough community that's patient, and that we get occasional two-week sneak peaks on whatever. Thank you, guys, so much for making this game, and thanks for showing us this. P.S. I love how you talked about the rocks like they were sentient beings with personalities, daily quotas, and actual individuals over items. This gives me a new respect and understanding for them, lol.
I played this game when I was younger - probably 12, and I’m now almost 22. I remember the memories and now that I’ve been seeing more and more things updating… I’m thinking I should check it out again. Remarkable it’s been around so long, and is staying so relevant. Love this game, my love of wolves is the same, and I can’t wait to check this map out!
i love seeing these behind the scenes on how the game elements where made, it really fuels my desire to become a game dev, and also gives me so much respect of the work done by game devs to make an interesting gameplay environment

Spring/Summer time LR looks so good! I've been playing in the old map quite a bit and taking lots of screenshots so that I can compare them when the expanded LR comes out. This looks so good, I really can't wait!

can the new lost river have like some pretty cool eater eggs like alien ships, weird glowings in the city during night, stray dogs (new competition) stray cats (food source), floppy could have like new detail, like tumors because of the radiation, and tons of more easter eggs, like making it more spooky.

Not that it matters but I have this little storyline for one of my wolves. His name is Bingo and he was born part wolf and part dog, when lost river flooded and his humans had to leave, they took him out to the country side a d left him there to defend for himself, He would wonder for a long time until he found some elk which he took down after getting hurt a few times, Time passes, Summer turns to winter and one day he finds a she-wolf by the name of Feather. They instantly click with Bingos playful, and adventurous side, with Feathers Focused, and caring demeanor. So yeah that's just a quick story :>
I'm so happy that you guys prioritize telling your audience/fan base about what your doing and what's being worked on and what's being thought of! I've known so many games where they had so much potential (cough cough Century of Dragons or whatever it's called) where they have a game with promising potential in their game but they're not listening or not showing what they're working on (either because they have nothing to show for or not being able)

Talking about the tree growing out of the road we saw at the beginning of the video, I've seen at least one picture where there was a tall sapling growing out of a pothole. So, if the road is being swallowed up by brush and grass, and probably has potholes, it probably wouldn't be too odd for a random tree to be seen growing out of said road; there are plenty of pics of them growing out of/through weirder things. Plus, it'd be pretty funny XD
Yes, trees and other plants will root where they can. But those big trees would be really old, compared to when the people left Lost River. We keep sizes, density, and locations of vegetation in mind as we build the map.
Every time i've watched these videos I get excruciatingly sad because my pc had begun to stop working. All of the saves had been erased, and we just don't have the time to get wolfquest 3, or a new pc. Every time I look back on this game everything looks new.

Amazing how this game was made out of passion for the love of wolves and wildness. Despite the small team behind the game, the devs sure have a passion towards the game and this progress shows that. I, only recently brought the game on steam out of nostalgia for the classical which I used to played a lot when I was a kid and the graphics alone made my jaw dropped. The only complaint I have is that the transition between the soundtracks could be a bit smoother instead of suddenly stopping and switching tracks. I understand it is still in early access but it would something to consider to keep the immersion.
I love how pretty lost river is now, it’s gunna be so different running around there with so many trees and grass, and also having pups there, It’s amazing how much had changed in this game, keep up the awesome work!

Oh my God! I'm so excited for this! First time in a while I was waiting patiently for an expansion on the Lost River Saga. My wolf characters are going to have very detail BIOs about their adventures going through this with future generations of pups. :)
Im so excited about all the new things that get added, no matter how tiny.. I love to see this game evolve over time and it gets better and better. I was wondering, once the Saga is finished, will there be a chance that you join an already existing pack that lost a parent and kind of adopt their pups? And that multiple wolves of a pack raise pups? For example, a daughter getting pregnant or maybe even an adoptive father breeding with multiple she-wolves?

honestly i really love the vibe lost river gives off, floating boulders aside, im really looking forward to it! The more new areas to explore the better ;)
One thing I hope about the new Lost River map is that it doesn’t lose it’s trademark orange and brown colour. In the original map, it was permanently orangeish, looking dry and barren, and that was part of it’s charm. I hope it doesn’t lose that in the new map
I hope the final map will be more rocky !! with big cliffs and new camp spots for multiplayer roleplay :D maybe waterfalls or big overhangs of rocks, bigger trees like the ones in the meadow of Amethyst ? this will be so populat on Multiplayer ! it's looking great

@@kitkatyas The Tower Fall MAP is going to be DLC, just not the Saga. So all players can play the Saga, you just have to buy the map
