Many many years ago I actually ran quite a lot of C3 sites in a "Swiss Army Drake" of my own. I figured with the nice passive tank, okay-ish DPS, and the fact it has _so many_ high slots, it would be a good "universal" ship for them. You could tank the sites reasonably well and do just enough damage to make it not take absolutely forever, and sporting so many high slots meant you could refit for salvaging. Mine was a fully T2 fit Drake, with T2 Purger rigs. It still took a pretty long time to clear a C3 site, but the Sleepers were totally unable to break the tank and that's what I liked most about it. As long as you were careful and paid attention to d-scan it was a very low-risk way of doing C3s. I eventually used all the money I got from that to get into a Tengu. That was even faster, although significantly more risky because losing a Tengu is not exactly cheap. It's been a very long time since I last took a dive into wormholes. I might fit out a cheap Drake to give C1s and C2s a spin again. It's not as good money as the higher tier wormholes but it is still a pretty fun activity with decent money behind it. Also fantastic to know Alpha clones can use them. I can bring my newbro friends into them with me :).
I enjoy your content, its okay what your doing. To tell you the truth I get a bit bored with music and a pulled out view of PVP videos. You never know what the content creator is really doing. Explosions are nice, but explanations such as yours are much more usable.
Yea agree with everyone else just speeding up is good. Thanks for the great content, im taking your lads hyperion build out for the first time tonight so lets hope that goes well.
Great video Mark, like everyone else I prefer the speeded up footage with the commentary- I think cutting bits out would make the footage seem too disjointed. I’m 7 weeks into Eve online now, and have just converted to an Omega account. I’m beginning to think my random decision to join the Amarr faction when I first signed up wasn’t the best start to the game. A large number of these combat type videos that I’ve watched seem to show people using shield /missiles/gun combo’s instead of armour and lasers that Amarr ships are designed for.
I will do some Amarr stuff soon then! They certainly have some very capable ships and I do have an Alpha in the wings :) I am sure you will find the Omega upgrade worthwhile, it opens nice doors xD
Dad Dex - i think the Omen Navy issue is the most popular Amarr Cruiser, not sure how it stacks up against a caracal or an Osprey Navy. I’m currently plodding through 9 days worth of training time to get my Frigate skills up to level 5. I mainly do wormhole exploration, and have my sights set on an Anathema- a lot cheaper than an Astero, but there are more/ higher level skills required to fly one.
@@paulthomson6573 Yes a T2 exploration frigate is better at exploration than an Astero, and they are over priced to compensate for low skills needs and therefore attractive to hunt too, I think you are playing is wise :)
Tbh honest RAVEN is much better in C2 sites. You can stay aligned all the time and just spam sleepers with cruise missiles. Better tank, better dps and looks awesome :) And you dont need to shoot Siruises at all, wasting time.
Ive seen people use heavy missile launchers and rapid light which one would be better. I have more dps with rapid lights but application may play a role in true dps.
is there a particular reason i very rarely see this kind of content with amarr ships? almost always gallente/caldari, occasionally minmatar. Are lasers just worse than ammunition based guns?
Mate. Am looking for a wormhole corp tired in recruitment channel but no one replied and my friend told me that that after some kind of chance in wormhole many people don't licmve there it seem is it true? If u have any place in ur corp can I get one? If ur corp is full time wormhole corp?
Good question.! I would say you will find the balance between HP and regen that best fits your skills and the application. I think for HP is safer, in terms of not getting caught out. If the incoming dps is not too high for the regen to deal with then it may be better, and leave you with more HP at the end of a site so you can move to the next quicker.
It certainly is, you just watched an Alpha flying it. I did mention Salvage drones at one point, Alpha's can't use those. I am glad that may surprise you, as one of the points of these vids is to show how much an Alpha can do in the game! :)
@@daddex9222 I am an Alpha player and really want to start doing things on eve, i played before never got far but this time i want to do alot more and find ppl to work with , this video/s are really helping ppl like me

That's great Lynx that is fantastic resource, thanks for sharing it! I will pin you comment and copy the address to the description xD
I feel that speeding up the repetitive parts helps with following the fight, rather than cutting it out. Always enjoy the commentary.
Thanks for the feedback :)
I like the speeding up content as you did here, it keeps things easy to follow. Nice vid.

Thanks for the comment. Great to hear your are helping the newbros into adventure too, keep it up, Fly Brave o7
feel free to link that fit ty
I like when you fast pace it to speed through the repetitive stuff, personally :)
Good to know!
another good vid Mark. prefer to speed up not cut out. thanks

this guy deserves more subs
Thanks! I agree xD!! :)
Fabulous content as always, mate.
Real time and a lot of nonsense, please ;)
The longer the video the more fun we have and the more we learn,
Cheers.

Great guide!

Try that with an Alpha clone, the Praxis is the only BS they can really use at all well. :)

When you fleet up next time, i would like to fly with you. Especially since were neighbors.
Would purgers be better than extenders?

How much DPS can your Drake tank? The site has about 266 DPS max.
Are you using Salvager IIs?
NO,alpha's can't train high enough. The rigs compensate though.
any other bc's that can do it? All i've seen is the drake.
brick tank prophecy could probs pull it off
A mrymidon can do it but i use it to ninga the sleeper data/relic sites
And I am messing with Gnosis to do the same thing too :)
The ship setup isn't for an Alpha player is it????

Speed up mate. Don't cut. When narrating people learn things one takes for granted.
Yes that seems to be the best way.. hardest thing about narrating these vids sometime is shutting up, I could blab every mod for a minute or so xD
