@NNA S Not trying to tell you who to vote for, but that would be what Trump wants you to do. The reason the nomination didn't go to a more liberal candidate like Sanders or Warren was a strategy by the Democrats to get people in swing states that hang more center or are not far-right Republican. Sanders and Warren are just barely on the outside of the Overton window for this election because of how far everything is to the right. Voting for Biden will slowly move that window towards the left so that, in the future, a candidate much like Sanders, Warren, or AOC will have a better chance of winning. Biden might not do anything significant, but Trump can make things four times worse. Significant change still might not come in our generation, but I'm willing to sacrifice that so that in the future the change is the next generation's present.

Canadian here. Also important for me to see. I sent it to all my family. I can’t lie when I say my thoughts on America changed in the last few years (not even right away, I gave the benefit of the doubt) but seeing this made me feel hopeful again. I know it’s hard to come out and go against something you’ve been born into, but seeing people do it has made me realize that there are many others who may think the same way but are just scared to come forward (and I don’t blame them). We also know that not every American citizen is dumb or a bigot or whatever, but when you only see videos of his base basically crying in his presence like he’s a God, you can’t help but wonder what the American people really want.
