Love this! Now I can make Sugar one! She LOVES crinkly material!
I love this! Will try to make one for my cats, maybe a bit bigger. Thanks for sharing!
Con la plastica dentro il sacco mi sembra che ci possa essere pericolo di soffocamento.
@@rosettaok8243it’s not plastic and it’s hidden fully inside the material. If your animals are chewers, I wouldn’t recommend this because if they eat the fleece and crinkle paper (not plastic) it could cause a blockage.
My partner and I are adopting ferrets this Saturday. We bought the ferret Nation and decided we want to make our own cage liners, hammocks, beds and stuff like that. We have 0 sewing experience, but bought a sewing machine and some tools. Already made the cage liners our selves. It's not perfect, but super excited about it. I found your channel and this is so helpful! Can't wait to see what all we can create with your videos as guide!! Thank you for these
Congrats on your new babies!! And you can absolutely sew your own bedding! I didn’t know how to use a sewing machine when I started either. If you watch my videos you’ll see the progression of me getting better as the years go on 😂. I ended up falling in love with sewing and now I have an Etsy shop where I sell liners and accessories.
Added tip: I will take the layered crinkle & fabric and sew a few short lines in random places before sewing it all together. I’ve noticed on a few of my personal sacks that, when washed, the crinkle would end up in a ball inside. My ferrets are quite rough on their crinkle stuff & then with the agitation of the washer… a small tear in the crinkle can grow quickly… helping it become a mess inside. But a few tack spots helps hold it in place, especially if you wash it often. Just a little thing I’ve learned along the way… 🙂
I started doing the same and I don’t put them in the dryer, the crinkle gets weird. So now I hang it to dry
It seems like they had a lot of fun with it! Great DIY!
