Thanks for the talk, Cale. Just saw the same message from Laura. You, Laura, and Grant - those are working farms, not amusement parks or tourist attractions. Thanks for giving us city folks a glimpse of your lives. It's a whole 'nether world, and we appreciate it!
Great job on the NO Trespassing message, very diplomatic. Laura take note of dad’s approach. It’s sad some people were not taught better than to show up, uninvited to your work place and/or home. Awesome aerial videography…smooth operator. 🚁👨🏼✈️
Thank you as always for showing us a glimpse into life. It really helps me/us understand what goes on out in the field especially if it is a far cry from whatever we do daily. I feel the need to apologize for whatever the unfortunate incident was that prompted a serious chat in the cab even though I know nothing about it. Sorry it happened. Excellently handled. Now we move on. God bless.
Love your videos, Cale! The areal filming, the music selection, your humor, and your positive attitude are just wonderful! At the end of my work day, I sit down and watch these videos to decompress from the chaos and stress of my job. Thank you so much for sharing.
Same thing I wrote on Laura's channel: Trolls are gonna Troll, but showing up in person is a step over a hard line in the ground. Stay Safe! The Silage chopping is oddly satisfying LOL.
I really love watching your videos and i agree of what you said about if someone decided to visit your establishment. That would be wrong. Take care and i love when you and Grant go driving around the wet areas in your army trucks. Very cool. Take care and all the best. By the way greetings from Ontario , Canada
Hello Sir. Just found your channel! Love your channel. You seem like such a fun dad. I hope when the recast the Millenial Farmer they consider you. The Platte River runs through my backyard in Colorado. I'll be sure to help with irrigating Nebraska after a few beers tonight!
Cale that was a great video with the aerial view of chopping was a great perspective that one cannot get on the ground. I used to run pull type cutters now all we see in our area of east centeral South Dakota are self propelled cutters. thanks
You even made silage chopping interesting to watch!! Especially with Adam's Aerials!! - The green plants outside of the endrows you are chopping is that just grass/weeds? Looks like it it would make good silage aslo so a couple of more passes could be an extra trailer load!! I really enjoyed this video! I understand the need for some personal privacy - I do thank you for sharing the farming videos and the Family time on the farm. Because I remember the Family time necessary to operate a farm even if it was from the 1950's -1970's! Thanks again for your hard work, Family values, and for sharing!!
Great video! Glad to be back on your channel. Evidently tube does cleansing from time to time and I lost your channel. From an old farmer thanks for what you do. It’s work for real!
Great video! Adam did a real good job on the aerial views. Good to see Ethan getting some more field time. Feels good to have our Kids able to help out and take a real interest in our work. Sad it had to be said about having privacy. Some people do not understand limits or how dangerous it is to be around a farm and it's equipment. Keep up the good work, love your videos. On a great note! Happy Birthday to your Dad!!! God Bless him!!! 👍👍👍
Hey As a farm field fun fact, especially helpful if your machine stops deep in the corn and you and L can’t get it started. Why not look into outfitting each of your machines with JUMP BOXES charge them and keep them in the cab of all of your units, combine, chopper, whatever. Get the ones big enough to crank those diesels over they haven’t let me down yet. Maybe it’s something you’ ve contemplated but you just haven’t ordered a few yet. The one’s I bought at Amazonia will crank over a 15 liter but I always buy the same size so it doesn’t matter which tractor I throw it into I know it will crank it over. Love your and Al’s channel too…keep the vids coming…Cheers
Hello sir, just subbed a few mins ago to this channel,i come from Laura's channel and i love your family's vids about farming, also wanted to say that i appreciate the fact that you and laura told people to respect your privacy even if they should've known that its not okay to show up to ppls homes.Anyway just wanted to say hi from Romania :D
For a second, i though the stalker thing was funny, but then it hit me. What would i do in your shoes! Random creep walking down my door.... I really admire how calmly you explained it. Thank you for the content and also whoever picks the music, he's doing a great job!
Nice drone video footage, Adam! Wow, sorry to hear that some have showed up uninvited to your home/farm? Erin Holbert had the same problem. This is why I will never do any of my own videos on youtube nor do social media because I know that some nut out there would likely show up at my home. I don't know how you, Laura and others can do this like you do? Maybe because you all live so far out in the boonies? I'd never chance such living here in the city with so many nutbags living all around me. Making videos knowing that there are so many nuts out there that have no respect for other's privacy or safety? However I do thank and appreciate you Cale,, Laura, Grant for making these very interesting and entertaining videos for us. You're brave indeed in my opinion. I am a fan of this family because you all are good, wholesome, hard workers and have a positive vibe, something that we no longer can get from TV and movies anymore, plus I come from families of farmers from both my father's and mother's sides and I have always loved that and the people. People need to respect other's privacy and have some due tact and consideration, for cryin' out loud! I looked for Laura and Grant at the Farm machinery show here and I had missed them several times, but no way would I EVER think of showing up anywhere that I was not invited nor approach anyone that did not welcome it! May God bless you all and keep you safe!
What amazes me is how little people know about seed corn. While I never knew the full process like I do now after Laura's videos, I grew up in seed corn country and just assumed that everyone had some idea of what it was.
Definitely the best video you have made yet! Sorry people show up. I’m sorry for that, just please don’t stop YouTubing. You and Laura are the best people I follow. Excellent drone footage too!! Adam does great work 👍
Saddens me that people overstep their bounds Cale. This is the second channel i follow that has had issues like this. The other channel had to bring in law enforcement because the individual threatened physical harm to them. Stay safe Cale and family. That being said we miss you Laura and Grant ✌
great Video thanks for the explanation of the crops and how you do it for us to understand. Awesome Drone work. I cant believe someone would show up at you place uninvited how rude. Hope it never happens again
Thanks for another fabulously informative video. As a non-farmer, I am curious as to the differences in corn. You mentioned this was seed corn - what exactly is that?
Look through Laura Farms videos on seed corn. Seed corn, in short, is corn grown for the seed for next year. This is a vary specialized thing that most farmers do not have to do because people like Cale do it for them. The seeds everyone plants have to come from somewhere. This most resent Laura Farms video about the middle may explain about seed corn just before the red machine. th-cam.com/video/iUuDdC-5Mlw/w-d-xo.html There are many more on seed corn in her list of videos.
Cale - not sure you have those ear plugs properly installed. You have to roll them tightly between your fingers and make sure they are firmly inserted in your ear canal.
great video! At the beginning of the video you showed the pivot working. As the video unfolded the ground look very very wet. Were these shot at different times? Why would the pivot been running with a ground being so wet? Remember to tell the tractor operator to dump everything that's in the wagon. If I recall last year one of the tractor operators brought a wagon back to the chopper that was not completely empty. The chopper operator was not a happy camper.
So you chop the male corn after the tassels pollination the female and you can use this as sliage to feed your cattle do you mix anything with your silage like molasses. I enjoy your u tube channel as well as your daughters and grant's channel best wishes from Ireland.
I agree with you. No one should just drop in on you. If they want to meet you they should schedule a time and place with you ahead of time. I am in Washington state and would love to meet you all. If I was going on a trip I would make arrangements ahead of time with anyone. Plan my time. But to just drop in to see you is rude and inappropriate. Have a great harvest and tell everyone hi from James in Washington
8/5/2022 I sent Grant and Laura some security ideas that I will not put out in the open here. I should of put your name on it as well but I did put advice to you in that letter. It is not likely that it has gotten there yet so if you are interested in whether I thought of something you did not think of, tell Laura you want to see that letter. I am guessing that most people, that just show up, are not particularly dangerous but one can't tell till to late. More over city type people on a farm is a good way for them to get hurt. One can tell from many of the comments that they do not really understand farm safety vs. risk. Part of that is just knowing the machinery!
My wife has a form fitting shirt that I found in a thrift shop in Vermont that says on the front in just the right spot NOT EVERYTHING IN NEBRASKA IS FLAT .
I plan to have a TH-cam Channel and wondering if I need a Part 107 Certificate if I do not monetize the channel? Also do you have Part 107 and where a good place to learn?
It is not that hard to get a part 107 Certificate. The exception is for purely recreational use that you do not need one. Putting the video on TH-cam gives the government an argument if they care to use it. My opinion is that it is better to be safe than sorry and get the part 107 Certificate. You do not want trouble with the FAA.
At first thought you were going to perform one of your daughter's favorite tasks "male destruction". As usual there is more than one way to perform a task. As usual a good video but unusual that you seem to be ahead of your daughter with what happened at the farmer. 🚜👨🌾🌽🐮
Thanks for the talk, Cale. Just saw the same message from Laura. You, Laura, and Grant - those are working farms, not amusement parks or tourist attractions. Thanks for giving us city folks a glimpse of your lives. It's a whole 'nether world, and we appreciate it!
I just Love The Drone Birdseye View! Awesome!!
Keep Smiling On!!
😀👍👊
Great job on the NO Trespassing message, very diplomatic. Laura take note of dad’s approach. It’s sad some people were not taught better than to show up, uninvited to your work place and/or home. Awesome aerial videography…smooth operator. 🚁👨🏼✈️
Listening to that 466 Deere is like music to my ears !! Stay Safe !!❤
Thank you as always for showing us a glimpse into life. It really helps me/us understand what goes on out in the field especially if it is a far cry from whatever we do daily.

Shout-out to Adams Aerials... nice work!!! I think this is one of your best videos yet.
Thanks for bringing me back 45 years ago working on a small dairy farm I do miss all those smells.
Very cool how you can see the “male” rows out in the main field from the drone footage. Awesome video. This channel deserves 100K subs!!
Love your videos, Cale! The areal filming, the music selection, your humor, and your positive attitude are just wonderful! At the end of my work day, I sit down and watch these videos to decompress from the chaos and stress of my job. Thank you so much for sharing.
i think those were the most amazing photos of the country sunrise..god how i miss the country ..great job with the channel too
*Had a flashback to Speed Racer and the spinning cutting wheels in front of the Mach 5 when viewing the six-row chopper from the cab...* 12:47
Thanks for a great video, Cale. Grew up in Wisconsin dairy country and I sure do miss the smell of fresh chopped corn silage.
Thanks for sharing your many adventures on your farm! 🚜🌽🐂

Absolutely explains everything. I’m a city boy from Minnesota. ‼️‼️‼️‼️
I like the shots from the cab, you usually don’t see that. Makes you feel like your right there with you. Great video!
Glad you enjoyed
Great video Thank You for sharing your Life as An American Farmer with us and a Awesome Family Farm at that!
I pray that you and your family stay safe !!!!! It is a very dangerous and messed up world now. Sad.

So satisfying to look the chopping from above.
I think I would enjoy farming a lot.

This was awesome to watch! Your chopper resembles a scorpion from the drone shots. The fields look amazing! Great video! Love ❤️ you!!
Love your description! That chopper is a fun and potently dangerous machine! Adam did a good job filming it!
Excellent video content. The Aerial footage was a great touch. A different perspective. Thanks for the content Cale and you all be safe.
Love the sound of an old 466, I guess that's what was in those choppers, great video
love it when you do vids at the same time as Laura so we get to see more of whats going on.
One of the most entertaining blogs you have done and aerial drone view was exceptional.
Green Scorpion awesome videos crazy people watching please keep your Family Safe really good content

You, Laura, and Grant all look fun to work with.
They ARE fun to work with!
Really enjoyed the video ! The drone montage and film editing really put together well .Thank you
Awesome footage, have watched Laura for sometime, first time watching Dad….. Good job, very entertaining and educational. You have a new subscriber. 😊
Definitely the best video you have made yet! Sorry people show up. I’m sorry for that, just please don’t stop YouTubing. You and Laura are the best people I follow. Excellent drone footage too!! Adam does great work 👍
Nicely done,. Some parts were even soothing to watch.
Excellent video. Keep ‘em coming
Lovely classic john deere selfpropelled harvester
Great video Cale, I am sorry to hear that people believe it is ok to drop in on you guys. Your drone guy does a great job!
Thank you my brother
Somebody’s good with a drone!
Saddens me that people overstep their bounds Cale. This is the second channel i follow that has had issues like this. The other channel had to bring in law enforcement because the individual threatened physical harm to them. Stay safe Cale and family. That being said we miss you Laura and Grant ✌
Great footage love the drone view
Really cool drone footage in this one!
Awesome video Cale. We are working with Pioneer atm to see what corn we plant this year in NZ. May be it’s your corn seed 😳😉🤘
50 gallons , 118 gallons ouch . Pretty impressive how clean that chopper leaves the ground behind it .
I could guess how much DEF that beast takes. ZERO.
no computer in that beast which is one of the reasons it always works!
Awesome video !!
Awesome video
great Video thanks for the explanation of the crops and how you do it for us to understand. Awesome Drone work. I cant believe someone would show up at you place uninvited how rude. Hope it never happens again
Wait for the team

Can you visually tell the difference between the male and female rows? Or do you have to rely upon the placement?
I was wondering how you guys swapped out the big green carts and then you showed that to, thanks.
SEND IT!!! PEDDLE TO THE METAL, ALWAYS...
Please post when and where we can do meet and greet in 2023.
Awesome
Send it !!
I love the smell of cut silage ! Almost smells like candy
I love the smell of freshly cut sorghum too! Laura calls it milo.
great video! At the beginning of the video you showed the pivot working. As the video unfolded the ground look very very wet. Were these shot at different times? Why would the pivot been running with a ground being so wet?

Where do you buy those shorts? What brand?
Dang ! That’s a lot of corn !

We’re also NE folk. What town are y’all near where it’s that wet or was that from irrigation? We’ll be getting rolling with silage coming up soon too.
Whole 'nuther world. Ignore the typos! Feel the love!
Your the boss you can't get yelled at for getting stuck.
Cale is your sweep on the choppers radiator screen auto or not…just curious I didn’t see it working. Keep crushin it hoss💪🏻🇺🇸💪🏻GBR🌽🏈🌽
If its like green combines the screen rotates.
@@lynwessel2471 yea, guess so. You’re correct. Some mfg’s or set ups screen moves others I’ve seen sweep move…thx

I wonder what each wagon load is worth.
Alot I hope considering the cost of fuel
Let it eat
haha I knew you would full send lol
I am guessing the chopper cannot be spun in reverse to clear clogs?
only the head can go in reverse.
Work around those swamp holes !!! But we know what you're going to do anyway !!! Lol
Question to a farmer from a non farmer. How fast in speed can this chopper go to cut up the silage
Can you get a chopper for a Combine ?
Is your drone Pilot a FAA Part 107 Certificated Remote Pilots?
Fly by drone,,,, aerobatics is in your bones Adam
This project pleases my ocd

180 gallon tank on that bad boy?
Hi 👋
SUPER🇳🇱👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏🍀
Corn silage lower grade of dent corn the source?
In this case they're chopping "male" seed corn borders.
I will do the meet and greet. I respect your privacy
