So glad they got rid of the extra grab for climbing. It was the first thing I noticed when I played. It caused me more silly deaths than it needed to and didn't really add anything so I'm happy it's gone; especially now general traversal speed is even faster in this one.
A little late to the party, but I just started playing Jedi Survivor on the PS5. I also suffered from motion sickness at first, but I lowered the 'camera shake' option to 40%. Perfect. Great game so far. I loved Jedi: Fallen Order.
One thing I figured out with those probe droids is that you can just force pull them towards you and hit them with your lightsaber and they won’t explode if you do that.
I think youre the first person to simply deflect the bolts from the blue shield trooper instead of soaking up damage and screaming i hate these guys. Great work!👍😁
the grenades still blow up the enemies btw and also if you force push it or force pull it then push it into them you still get the xp as well, hope you're enjoying this as much as i am
1:41:12 I think the camera shake option only counts for in-game play and not for cutscenes. The shakeyness in cutscenes did seem intetnrional to me so far, gives the action scenes a more hectic feel, I guess.
Here is a tip that will help you feel better about the gameplay. Go to your game settings and select controls. Go to controller look sensitivity for X and Y and turn them down just one notch from 5 to 4...both of them. Let me know if that helped you
They confirmed patches are coming for the graphics and frame rate problems, but will be over the coming weeks :/ . I’d say most Day 1 buyers will have it beat by then
@@Skyytea I’m gonna wait a month before I buy it. I’d say these patches are just gonna fix little by little until it’s fixed, but I think they should’ve just delayed it because people on all platforms are complaining about the visuals right now. Excited to try it once everything’s good though

Apparently, this game is an absolute mess on PC. It's crazy how many AAA games are poorly optimized for PC. Console is the way to go these days. As far as the actual game is concerned, the opinion seems to be overwhelmingly positive. Can't wait to play it myself. Keep up the good work Sky! Always a joy to watch your playthroughs 👍
yeah, they could have been more specific in their descriptions between "hold" and "press." also, the grenades DO damage enemies. they have to be pretty close. maybe on GM they just don't do as much damage.
If u ever want to come back to this game good news they fixed performance issues I’ve been recently playing it it took them 7 patches to finally fix this game but it’s worth it to play and enjoy the story now because performance issues are fixed it feels so much smoother and enjoyable to play

It might be an added requirement of 'performance' mode, but I know what you mean. It looks like the resolution is at times scaling down, and at a certain distance enemies are significantly less detailed, and moving at slightly less animation frames.

You are very good at killing things. I struggled against the regular troopers and had to do the Ninth Sister battle 499 times. And that was on a much lower difficulty. How do you kill things with such swishy moves day one? Is it because I don’t remember the controls from the first game? Not even sure I could kill like that in the first game either…
it's a shame this game is in such a rough state. I'm deep into it now and I think I'll save my new game plus playthrough when it's in a better state. EDIT: also I found that changing the camera settings from the default 5 to 4 really helped and widening the field of view made for a better combat experience as you can see the enemies a bit better when they surround you EDIT 2: disable the damage taken with fall damage, this game has some weird fall damage mechanics that you sometimes die and other times not so by doing that you'll not have a bad time experimenting with the jumps

@Skyytea I hope I’m not too late to the party to tell you this but there is a customizable camera shake option in the accessibility settings that you can turn all the way down to help with the motion sickness. You could try it out to see if that works because this is a solid game and it’d be fun to watch you play through. Most performance issues have been fixed too so the game should be a pretty smooth experience. Would love to see you start this back up and especially tackle a couple of the side bosses 👀😉
Big mistake playing it on Hardcore on first playthrough Imo why not just enjoy the game and then played on hard after you beating it. Less frustration. Oh well
@@Skyytea Yes, Vader showing up was a huge unexpected twist. People watch streamers for the streamer, not the game, I would be surprised if even half the people here played part 1. But they might want to after they watched you play. A spoiler warning would have been nice is all.

When ever you dodge two times in succession it locks you into a brief recovery animation so you have to time these dodges or you’ll get hit

You can Force grab a gunner Stormtrooper and as your holding him he'll shoot his own guy's.

This game just launched with crap optimization, it's not just your eyes. Hopefully they release some fixes soon :/
The game has bugs with performance the developers has announced that they will be fixing the issues across platforms.

The pink poncho is locked behind a boss fight but you will have to find that.
