WOW. Kneeling on cockle shells is like OLD SCHOOL CHINESE TORTURE!!!!!! LOL Hakka is so similar to Cantonese, even though they are classified as different Chinese dialects/ language group actually. Literally all the terms are the same in Cantonese, just pronunciation is different (as opposed to Mandarin/ Hokkien/ Shanghainese where even the vocabulary/ terms are quite different). I am Cantonese but my paternal grandmother is Hakka! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you , very good teacher and I look forward to your next video . My Hakfa is Moiyan and Malaysia is mostly Fuichiu , similarities are very close .
I'm so surprised most of them are the same terms (as opposed to Mandarin/ Hokkien/ Shanghainese where it would be totally different vocabulary). So Cantonese & Hakka are the most similar genetically.
Oh my good, I just realized that my Hakka is pretty bad. I don't know about how to say many of body parts in Hakka. I only know head, hand, leg, hair, all the basic stuffs. I don't even know how to say knee and elbow in Hakka.
Thank you, you are a good teacher, I subscribed :)
Thank you for sharing Chinese Hakka speaking.

Hakka shares a lot of identical words with Cantonese, just a bit different pronounciation.
