John Wick uncovers a path to defeating The High Table. But before he can earn his freedom, Wick must face off against a new enemy with powerful alliances across the globe and forces that turn old friends into foes.
It was smart of the filmmakers to have this fight happen so early, considering where they wanted the story to go.
I like how John isn't trying to murder Caine as he knew Caine was being blackmailed by the High Table.
John and Caine are on the same level and that applies to their code of honor. So both know they wouldn’t be fighting each other unless they absolutely HAD to. Amazing villain. (And yes he’s a villain everyone in this film is they’re all murderers lol)
John was out of bullets, not like he could kill Caine even if he wanted to

Vin Diesel: I got family.
Caine: So do I.
My favorite part is John slowly realizing that Caine is blind. On first moment, Caine doesn't give any indications (besides wearing black glasses in a somewhat dark room, lit up only by artificial lights), but when John sees him and the way he moves after the actual fight started it becomes clear. And of course he thought he could reach for the other pistol to finish Caine off. _He couldn't_
Caine is getting his own spinoff.
Caine put his finger in the gun to check if it's empty. Smart.
Anybody else notice caine reloads the empty mag he takes out
Loads it, but doesn’t use it again because it’s empty that’s why he picked up the rifle
If this is how lethal Caine is while he's blind, you gotta wonder how deadly he was when he could see.
Imagine Caine without blindness and in his prime...
No way John would have lived in that scenario, right?

This isn't the first time Donnie Yen played a blind fighter.
Caine almost ended the movie.

Caine put up a better fight against John than Zero did. Lol

John Wick was a terrible movie. A total cliche. The plot was cliche, the script was cliche, the characters, the dialogue, the action choreography, all cliche. One of the most unsophisticated movies I've ever seen. It didn't deserve one sequel, never mind three.

It was a perfect ending to me at least, the overhead camera long take gun fight was my favourite scene
action choreography cliched? there’s barely movies especially action films with this type of choreography nowadays.
