For the most speed , i use rip xv’s . Can build at 5 grains per pond . Not sure you can do that with ANY other arrow unless you have very little foc and probably 75 or less up front
tip with the tac's: little heat goes a long way if you get that target crinkle. Heat gun, hair dryer, even hot water and they steam to want to bounce back for me.
I very seldom have any problems with max stealth vanes. I just wipe everything down with 91% alcohol. Takes like 2 minutes to wipe the base of 36 vanes. Wipe the shaft ( no wraps) and use Gorilla brand instant adhesive.
Did you shoot the Kentucky MAF? I was there with some buddies. Very tight, technical courses. It was a lot of fun! Will definitely be checking them out in the future for other locations.
@@brentbandy3566I have been shooting 2 dozen for 3 years in offseason. Only break when you hit a rock or solid tree at TAC. I think I have lost 5 over 3 years

I’ve been tinkering with the DCA super sabers and I’ve been pretty impressed. Easy to fletch, light(er), quiet and hold their shape very well.
I stopped shooting the max vanes because they were just too much work. Been using blazer ICE and HEAT vanes with zero prep and zero issues.
Just set up my RIP TKO,s. 4 fletch AIRAZR pro, 150 grain glue in point. 440 TAW
SS34 31”DL 70lbs 298fps

I really like those vanes. Seem to fly really good for me.
Hold the tac vanes over some steam they pop back to shape

It's time to leave the rangefinder at home, gentlemen. Or are you scared of a Total Archery Challenge?
