    Ten Hag is my favorite to take the role, he implements a fluid attacking squad and his ability to create great teams with low budget says a lot. Also, loosing big names and still competing in the champions league shows he’s a genius and will make United great again

    • @ZeImmortal
      @ZeImmortal 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think it will benefit Donny a LOT by having his old manager at Utd, and he will finally play frequently
      But the major factor to decide if we get Ten Hag is if we get Top 4, which is likely if we continue our form, and to hold on for those tough fixtures against City, Liverpool and Chelsea. Also we need to beat Arsenal and Tottenham for them to drop points so they have a lesser chance of gaining on us.

    Ten Hag is the best choice United should be trying to build for the future he’s showed he can build teams at a club that sells its best talent imagine what he could do with money and the talent we already have he could turn Rashford Greenwood & Sancho into Europe’s most dangerous front 3

      I'm an Ajax fan from the Netherlands and Ten Hag would be an amazing option but as it is with al managers, he should be supported by the club by signings and stuff. And I fear United is such a mess on the football side, I am afraid ten Hag won't het the support he deserves which will make the project fail. Ten Hag is less of a personality than the likes of pochettino. At Ajax, Ten Hag is mostly actually doing the first team and training the team while Marc Overmars is in charge of the signings and talking with the agents and stuff. United has to have the right structure in place to make it a success but I guess that's the case for every manager they choose and is something that is needed if they want to compete with city, Chelsea and Liverpool.

I have loved him ever since he lead Östersund from the Swedish wilderness into the european aristocrasy. But Potter has never managed a really big club, so... Lopetegui is probably at the end of that list for me. But Pochettino is not far ahead. I really hope we don't end up with him. I'd rather see Rangnick stay at the wheel than Pochettino.

    Erik ten Hag should be the way to go. Easily one of the best managers in the world right now and tactically he'd suit us the best. If he isn't the one, then the order should be Luis Enrique, Mauricio Pochettino then Graham Potter. Enrique should in theory excel at United and he would be my number one choice if he wasn't with Spain at the moment. Pochettino deserves a gig at some point. As for Potter, he needs to go to a bigger club before he comes to us. I feel he needs that development first before he comes to us.

      I reckon Rangnick could do good things if he stayed as manager beyond when he’s supposed to move into the consultancy role. I’m impressed at the progress we’ve seen in a really short timeframe. There wasn’t the new manager bounce - it’s more the kind of progress in fundamental player behaviours (particularly off the ball) that we haven’t had at Utd for such a long time. I can’t help but feel the problems at the club run deep, and we need someone who makes a great cake before we get someone who’s good at piping icing.

    Ten hag is the only choice... There would be a very strong case for naglesmann if there was any chance of getting him but there isn't. But Ten Hag is the perfect man for United, Plays great football, can build and rebuild sides and nutures the youth through. What more do you want from a manager? Poch shouldn't be anywhere near the United job at the moment, Enrique is not leaving the Spain job before the world cup, lopetegui(however you spell it) is not good enough. Other options are Gallardo or the Sporting manager as outsiders but Gallardo won't be looked at and the Sporting guy is probably not big enough for this board.

Enriqiue would also be incisive in terms of building his team- players like Maguire would be sold or rightfully benched if underwhelming. Enrique would also be able to construct Uniteds first decent midfield pairing- would love to see Fabian Ruiz in the prem (I wish arteta would sign him for Arsenal), and finally Enrique brings tactical experience. I mean Enrique is able to get the best out of players looking at his Spain squad its impressive how his got youth and experience blending while placing performance standards and not simple names when calling up players.

    United need to sort a lot of issues in next 4-5 months,Ragnick has more on his plate than any other manager has had since sir alex left, he needs to decide who the next manager will be , manage contracts of players while also spotting potential targets, let players go and also maintain enough squad depth to successfully finish top 4 this season. Plus also decide the structure of the club and what his future role will be. I dont think any other manager has had as much work to do as he will be doing in next few months its exciting as a united fan to see him take charge and work his way through a club which for a very long time has not had a man who could change the future of this club so drastically be it mourinho or van gaal.

    Its a shame that despite speculation Zidane won't be able to come to United. I like Enrique, Pochettino and Ten Haag. I also think Ten Haag will be the right option as of right now but we can't decide so fast. Utd's style of play is complicated and the players will need quite a bit of time to get used to the 4-4-2 defensive tactic and Vertical Tiki Taka.

    Shaw is much better going forward than Telles, he's a better ball carrier, passer and creator, he also actually overlaps which is something Telles very rarely does. The only thing Telles has on him is his crossing from deep, not exactly sure why you'd put him in a side based on him being more similar to Jordi Alba, because he's just not lol.

      Shaw = 4 goals and 30 assists. Telles = 30 goals and 71 assists. Telles is definitely better going forward, but Shaw is better defensively. Shaw is the most balanced of the two

      @@joelgriffin8222 Telles has also played way more games at a lower level and took all of Porto's set pieces, and Shaw has only really become a top level creator in the last 2 years. Right now Shaw is much better going forward, look at their underlying numbers.
      I would actually say Telles is the better and more proactive defender. Shaw's main weakness is his defensive positioning and his unwillingness to close down crosses.
