We've def all had these days. I brought my boss hunting with me, after showing pictures and videos of awesome hunts, and of course the ole "can't hit the broadside of a barn" day hit me that day. Luckily we did get our limit but man, talk about embarrassing.

Great hunt! Man jams are frustrating I’ve been there. I Highly recommend ballistol Josh. It’s a miracle cleaner and lubricant. I use it in all my firearms (inside and out) and on the threading of my chokes and clean them after every hunt, little ocd on that note, don’t care of the brand and guys that say “ brand x gun should work no matter what” that’s bull. Mechanical parts (metal on metal) need lubrication. They sell it now at Scheels in OP. 💪 keep grinding brother 🇺🇸

You may have figured it out by now, but I find it helpful to set my boat towards the right of the spread as a right handed shooter. That way you have more range of motion in your swing in birds crossing right to left.
I love your videos man. Duck hunting is not always going to have limits and ducks are not always going to fall.

In the middle of our season our whole blind hit a dry spell of hitting anything very frustrating all you can do is take your time and keep trying I found my wader strap was slightly pushing the butt of my gun over
And that right there, is the exact reason why I go with older pumps instead of newer automatics. Waaaaay too many freezes and jams during the season. Pumps are dependable no matter the weather.
Ya gotta have challenging days to appreciate the really good days and yes clean the gun it will treat you well on the follow up shots
I just started duck hunting this year...just always Shied away from duck hunting..hunted upland birds most of my life..thanks for your videos I'm learning alot that will help next season..I've shot 7 Greenwing teal 2 bluewing teal 2 woodducks 1 young mallard all drakes 2 lesser Canadians..not to bad for a first timer..keep the good content coming

SLOW is SMOOTH and SMOOTH is FAST!!!! Great video, I know the rushed feeling out of the layout...watch the anticipation of the gun going off and make sure your head stays on that stock.

I love clenzoil in my Benelli’s. It’s made for the cold and I never have issues. Also, benelli’s like limited oil. The least you can put on the better.

If you are going to shoot a benelli, make sure u keep it cleaned well and always shouldered firmly against your shoulder. I don’t believe the malfunctions were the guns fault, just lack of care and proper shooting technique possibly. Best of luck
More with the cleaning a gun should cycle regardless if it’s shouldered or not I don’t think the gun cares where you got it 😂
@@alexperrin4212 some inertia guns will fail to load if not firmly on your shoulder. By how stiff that action seemed. It was like he may have got dirt in it.
Clean out your magazine tube and spring as well as the recoil spring and tube!

there is a blade of grass inside interfering with the cycle of your gun. More clothes on= changes your gun angle
I’m gonna tell everyone if your a duck hunter in East Tennessee you have to be dedicated. This is my 3rd year and have only killed a handful of ducks.

I know it probably wasn’t the guns fault just needs cleaning but man Ive seen it all with em’. All my friends shoot m2s/super Vinci/Super black eagles and I owned a super nova that was a great shooting gun I killed many geese/ducks and dove with it but gave me issue after issue after 2 seasons.. my friends that shoot the more expensive semi autos have had the same things happened and for someone that bird hunts regularly I just don’t think they’re worth the money if you can’t get 5 years out of em’ but that’s just my opinion based off what I’ve seen and experienced. I grew up on a pump so I like my 870 super mag and has given me little to no issues on the 4th season with it and my dad shoots a mossberg 835 and has put that thing through hell of use and is so reliable he’s had it since 2005 and I know older brownings a5s are awesome I’ve heard mixed opinions about the new ones but I’m stickin with American no more Italian

I’m half way through and saw your draw feathers out of birds and they keep flying. I get the 20ga can kill them, but it’s bordering on ethical with steel shot….
Still have to make good shots, the feathers were tail feathers from shooting just behind the bird. Happens to everyone no matter the shot, look at how many doves are flying around without the long tail feathers after opening day. And that’s with lead.
@@jonathanseamon2668 I’d like to agree, but I’ve hunted with several people that crippled birds and the shots were inside of 30yrds. The pattern density just isn’t there. Cripples happen with steel shot, I get it, but there is no doubt in my mind the 20ga leaves a lot to be desired. To each their own….

I clean my weapon after every hunt. I guess the Army drilled that into me.
If I were you I would start using a 12 ga, those Twenties just don’t have enough sack. You are hitting those birds they are just taking the hits

Should have packed it in after the third big whiff. He connected and those birds probably flew off to die. Feels like you should count those towards a limit and call it a day.

Benelli's are POS! Its either the famous Benelli "click" or jam. My advice is to lose it and get a Browning. The A5's are very dependable. Great vids guy. Keep it up.
