You and I started about the same time. I started on my last birthday Dec 19 23. I haven't made a video on my progress, but it's cool seeing your progress. I'm starting work on the cords now. This is a Plato for me at the moment. I'll get it though.
That’s awesomee! Honestly, I would recommend you to film yourself for you so you can see how you’re doing! Having a visual of what you makes you aware of your mistakes but also it’s a great motivation to see that you have improved I recommend you to check Lauren bateman finger push ups to improve your transitions and finger dexterity with the chords 😊
@@The-Labbed-Life I'm impressed that you have so many songs, and cords already. My song experience has only been with pentatonic backing tracks. I love that, that has help a lot. Yes I've seen Lauren videos, she's very good. I will try doing a video. You must spend a lot of practice time in on learning, and it shows that you're improving. I've signed up with a couple teachings. Breakthrough Guitar and Guitar Mastery very good, and both lead me to having to get the Cords down. Keep going strong.
@@mabblers i only have 4 chords that I’ve been practicing with different songs using them 😊 My rule is to practice minimum 15mn daily and I really have a great focus on deliberate practice so I can learn faster. I recommend you to check Mike Philippov too! He makes videos about how to practice guitar in a better way and I believe it’s a very important skill to not waste time and have the most useful practice in a short time
Watching you actually brings back fond memories of my earliest days with the guitar. I found that some of my most significant progress happened once I became more fluid and adept with my right "picking" hand. It takes time. Enjoy the journey!
Hello there, big progress in three month. Avoid taking some bad habits, those are the most difficult to fix afterwards, if I could tell you some advices (as a less beginner guitar player) : - Make sure to use more your wrist and less you arms to strum, your will have more accuracy and you should be less tense. - Adjust how you're gripping your pick, with a more strong joint. To be lighter on the string you need to be more "flexi" (it can take time to master, don't worry to play it loud at first) I hope you're having fun, it's key to continue the first year on the guitar. I think the louder you can play the better because your body will self correct your position to stop losing the pick and losing too much energy with tense on the guitar. (Sorry for my bad English) I look forward to see your next progress update :)
Hi there! Thank you a lot for the comment 😊 I really appreciate that you took the time to give me some feedback. I will think about it during my practice hehe And yes! I make another update in a few months ✌️ PS: your English is great! As long as I understand everything it’s good 😊
Speed is the enemy of progress. It is obvious that you change metronome too quickly and often to achieve meaningful progress. You will get nowhere, trust me.
Yees for sure! The goal for me for a while was not accuracy but getting my fingers to move on the fretboard. It was the hard at the beginning since I never played before but now that I’m good I can focus on being more accurate 😊
You are doing a great job! I know it can be frustrating at times but wonderful job and keep going you are making wonderful progress!
Thank you Bella! I’m definitely enjoying it hehe
