I enjoyed this so much. I am a pastor’s wife, retired kindergarten teacher, and a new author at almost 73. It reminded me again that older adults have something positive to give the younger generation. Our life experiences in a different world has deposited things in us that need sharing. i sent my middle grade novel, Hide and seek in which Emily has a fever after a wound to her leg. She faints and has an out of body experience and she floats up through the Abbey roof where she is taken way up into the sky and sees a blinding light and there's a voice and it's the voice of God The voice tells her to go back and live. She floats to earth and lives. I sent the book to an editor and he was very negative about it saying that some atheist parents might object. I mentioned C.S. Lewis and said how popular they are and he didn't have an answer. Although the book isn't there to preach, It was my way of showing my faith and needless to say, it's still there and it will never be taken out. God bless the lady and her books. In this often Godless world, we need someone to write books like that.
