Watching this brings back memories of my childhood. In the summers, my grandparents used to take me on drives into the vale, i remember visiting nash point, and sitting outside the pub up the road, the three horseshoes i think, and paddling in the brook which runs down to the sea.
I’m literally writing a list of places I will have to visit in Wales, thanks to your channel! Also, the story about you thinking the fish were singing had me laughing 😂 That’s so cute!!! 👶🏻🎶🎤🐠
Another great video. Back in the 1970s I was stationed at RAF St Athan, and it's nice to see this lovely area again. Llantwit Major beach was the first place my two eldest children did some paddling. I like to get back whenever I'm able to.
I'm so happy I found these videos! I'm a Brazilian but I've been to Wales twice and I totally love it. In my last visit I had the opportunity to see Dunraven Bay (a magical place) and Candleston castle, as I am a huge fan of the Merlin show and those are both filming locations. I can't wait for my next visit so I can explore the South coast further.
Well done episode like the history and Peter the pirate story small place perhaps a friendly pirate they all got the smuggled booze and jewels from the pirate a sort of pirate Robin Hood nice guy Peter the pirate lol

Loved the video. Again I cycled this part of the coast recently. If your totally bored and have 2 mins then take a look at the light houses I filmed last year 👍🏻
Little gem fairplay. Witch's point. Walked this last summer with my son. Beautiful coast line. Colin Dolphin a french pirate was captured in the Bristol Channel and buried on the beach at Tresilian Cave up to his neck.
hello! awesome video!! friends and I from UWC (atlantic college) are always up and down this coastal path - Nash Point and the pillbox above Tresilian Bay (we call it ‘bunker’) are popular spots :) a few of us might walk the trail down to Cardiff soon, any tips?
Thanks for watching, I've never walked along the coast as far as Cardiff. I live in Porthcawl and the furthest I've walked it from Porthcawl was to Rhoose Point.

there could be all the pill boxes because of the airports near by. Llandow and st athan perhaps
Yes and there are only a few bays that are accessible with gaps in the cliffs.
Atlantic college is where royalty from Europe get educated. One of the crown princess’s there right now.
It was all closed up when I passed, still in lockdown. They used to have an open day years ago. I remember swimming the pool as a kid.
Should have stopped in the Plough and Harrow for a pint and something to eat
Will do the walk again with Mrs W without the camera and enjoy a drink or two.
That’s a favorite pub of mine when visiting from Texas. Great selection of local cider. A very, very old pub.
