John is right on the money. The only reason for the outcry over the time reduction is because pitchers want to continue heaving the ball at 100mph
If you can't sustain throwing 100 every 10 secs, then simply throw slower

John has said before that in pitching slow your pitch speed so that you have more control. Todays pitchers want to throw 100, but it doesn't guarantee anything especially with more injuries. They have no idea where the pitch is going to go. So many Elbows & the thing that bothers me is the Lat thing. More Lat injuries than I can remember before. The Human body cannot seem to be able to throw that speed consistently without Tommy John injuries.

@@juancuelloespinosa Not interested in Chapman.Same scenario. Did you see him in playoffs? Not the same level he was before. He's another player that thinks that since he throws 100 he can still be effective. Pin point accuracy is much more important. Smoltz knows pitching. These older RPs can't perform at their former level. Batters caught up to 100.
