    Awesome! No magnet is what I remember slot cars being. Seemed sooo much more fun. More driving. Thanks for showing the difference.

    I used to be a big fan of HO Scale Racing and would like to know what the cost is in the United States

    Can someone reply with info on the braids he referred to in the video? I need to buy a couple dozen. I have only replaced a couple on the 15 cars I currently have and they were with the spares that came with them. 11 of the 15 are older models I got as hand me downs from my brother before he passed on.

    Hi Damien, What's the fastest lap time of any car on your track, and what car was it? Thanks!

    Thanx a lot for the vid. Very informative. I watched it for the first time the other day, and then went straight out and bought the car!

      Unfortunately the vid tells you to destroy your car from somebody who has nothing to do with FORD OR the builders of the super unique small ford slot car model. All the details for your new car are CHOSEN BY FORD EXPERTS. A ford expert is chosen from 1000 employees! So they clearly know what they're doing and this vid maker has NO CREDIBILITY compare-able to a ford employee. Your new life begins and this vid maker doesn't know your future!

    Hi. I was wondering if you have ever tried an SCX and a Slot.it car on track and if you did how did the car compared against similar models from other brands. Great video as always. Good job!

    Cool setup mate I wouldn't mind that in my garage

      You don't have it cause you're forced to pay a hidden sporting tax in your country.

    Is there any difference between this car and the Scaley car available here in the States. A friend show up with one of these at a Mustang only event and waxed all of us. His car was above and beyond the rest of ours. I've always heard that cars available out side the states, from different manufacters were higher in performance.

      Really? That sounds like a very expensive thing to do... why would you build two different types of the same car, one for the US and one for the rest of the world... Yanks and their conspiracy theories, it even stretches to slot cars...

      Your friend probably modded his car the way hardcore racers do!

    What rear tires would you suggest for this Mustang when on plastic tracks? Thanx...

    • @dreyn7780
      @dreyn7780 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      You might not think so, but the maker HAS decided on a performance level and sound for the car. THEY MAKE EACH CAR UNIQUE. They choose the tyres (not Damien) to make sure the car has their desired performance and sonic noise for the type of car. Then they MUST GET the okay from ford. FORD! It's not cool to destroy FORD's Car design EVEN IN THE SMALL CAR FORD CAR DESIGN. It's totally unique right out of the box and if YOU change it, its being built to act just like all the other non ford cars. You DON'T CHANGE the tyres, you DON'T cut off the tread, etc... STOP PAYING DOUBLE money for something that's already been decided at ford!

      I thought everyone modified their cars to win races ,not to keep some conformist happy with stupid ideas.

    Do other brand cars work on different brand tracks eg carrera cars on scalextric track

    • @paspax
      @paspax 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Generally, yes.
      Carrera make both 1:24th & 1:32nd scale cars but Scalextric & SCX track is 1:32nd scale. 1:24th scale cars are too big to race side by side on 1:32nd scale track so if you want a model made by Carrera, stick to their "Evolution" range.
      To use Carerra cars on Scalextric & SCX track the guide blades need to be changed. The Carrera ones are a bit too long & a bit too deep. I just substitute guide blades from Scalextric.
      There are minor Voltage differences which can be ignored.

      The only exception is digital, the chips are different. Slot car manufacturers think we want a choice, when the reality is the opposite. As for sticking to Carrera, they make the worst performing cars on the market, Scalextric make the most unreliable. I don't buy either Makes unless I'm forced to by a club. They both build very bad cars

    so how long did the chassis last until it broke? Two races?

    • @dreyn7780
      @dreyn7780 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well then, DON'T SCALE UP THE DRIVING! Lots of users of this product don't use the cars at an acceptable speed. They only buy 1 car, so that causes them to be DESTROYERS / consumers instead of being wise users of the cars.
