I know it will be a shame, but they still better induct Sid next year. Heck, they could induct Chris Jericho, and Big show next year if they wanted to.
Chris Jericho and Big Show are contracted to AEW so unless either AEW allows them to be inducted which is very unlikely or they leave AEW and returns to WWE which is even more unlikely especially in time for the HOF next then it's never going to happen especially for next years HOF
Its crazy because does he deserve a spot? Its hard to say no but NO. Same way Chris Benoit doesnt get into the hall of fame but deserves it. Same with Chyna who deserves and its not even a question but they will never do it
I can see that neither Vince and Benoit won't ever be inducted in the Hall of Fame. As for the others on here, the biggest reason they "won't ever be inducted" is due to Vince and Vince's actions, and since Vince is gone for good, there is a chance, at least for half of this list. Like take Bruno Sammartino for an example, he would of been inducted into the Hall of Fame a whole lot sooner, like in the 90's, but the extremely sour tention between Bruno and Vince, Bruno being inducted will never happen. That was until 2013 when Triple H convinced both Bruno and Vince to put aside their differences and induct Bruno into the HoF.
I was hoping a Bundy and Bigelow induction at 40. Bundy lived in South NJ and a lot of his family still there. Bigelow trained at the Monster Factory and was their first breakout star.
The only person who will let Owen go into the Hall of Fame is Martha. That isn’t going to happen anytime soon. Even Bret wants him in the Hall of Fame.
5:48 I completely disagree. Owen Hart shouldn’t be in the Hall of Fame and he doesn’t need to be. Why should the company that inadvertently killed him be allowed to glorify him. Owen’s death was tragic not just because of how he died, but because it could have been avoided. But the WWE decided on a cheaper alternative because they didn’t think Owen was important enough to spend the extra money on.
Part of me thinks that people should be inducted despite any controversies around them. I feel like the hall of fame is more for what they did not who they were.
I think it is laughable when the WWE denies someone entry into their HOF. There are so many dirtbags and lowlifes already inducted. Give the fans what they want by inducting their favorite wrestler even if it is off cam.
Kevin Sullivan wasnt involved. If he was, i doubt he would've been smart enough to get away with it, plus wasnt he in Florida when the whole incident occurred?
It's crazy how Jack Tunney was going to do something good by backing up the ref in court but then WWE did the bad thing by saying to him to not do it. And made it look like Tunney was the bad guy when he was not. Classic Vince move
If Bret stayed in WWE for long . Then the tragic accident of Owen Hart wouldn't be mentioned and he will be inducted in the WWE HOF. Preventing this to save owen's life.
@TapOutCorner I just hope HHH doesn’t go over his head and induct Sable in the hall of fame, cause it could act as a disgrace to the women division who put their lives for World Wrestling Entertainment every day.
I understand why Chris Benoit will be left out but I don't think it's fair. I know I know but hear me out. Chris had dozens of concussions over his run because of that stupid diving headbutt. Eddie Guerrero was Benoit's support system, keeping him sane after all of the brain damage caused by being forced to do that dumb a$$ finisher over and over again for over ten years and when Eddie died Chris had no one. None of the other wrestlers even cared about what he was going through. Add to that how the "Doctors" conveniently Ignored how he would hold his head and writhe in agony every time he was forced to do that move as if there was nothing wrong with him. As a fan I would talk about it with my pals all of the way back when he was in WCW saying "if they let him do this diving headbutt for to long he's as good as dead" and sadly I was more than right. I'm not saying Chris should be outright forgiven for what he did but it would be nice if the company that destroyed his brain and then abandoned him at the absolute lowest point in his life would acknowledge their part in the horrific end he and his wife and child met. His brain was in worse shape than an Alzheimer's patient and they just let him continue to smash his head into the mat from the top rope like it was no big deal. At least bring the WWE doctors up on charges for negligence or medical malpractice.
i agree with you on all of this, wwe staff and doctors never even cared about the wrestlers at all, and all the flying headbutts he delivered he was basically landing on his face or head everytime causing brain trauma and more than likely damage in the frontal lobe, plus if carlos colon and jimmy snuka are allowed to be in the hof after they both killed ppl and GOT AWAY WITH IT, hypocrisy at its highest by wwe, vince mcmahon or wwe have never taking accountablitly for there them not medicially taking care of their wrestlers, look how many wrestlers from wwe ended up going either crazy, damaged or worse
and too add the fact that a lot of ppl give excuse to jimmy and carlos being in the hof and not chris just goes to show that ppl rlly do pick favourites🙄🙄
None of the wrestling communities believed that he had a condition in his brain as a result from his spots at the time either though. I agree they shouldn’t have been so careless, but this was the first case of it happening and the doctor’s reasoning of it being too many hits in the head threw not only WWE but the whole industry in through a loop since the industry in general has been doing head shots for a LONG time now at that point.
@@sonomni OK so let's just ignore that they destroyed his life and abandoned him. We'll just continue to refer to this guy who's autopsy revealed that his brain was severely damaged to the point of more than %50 of his tissue was bruised and it was a miracle he could even talk as a murderer beyond redemption. Hey, while we're at it let's ruin the lives of his two living kids and make sure they're ridiculed for having a horrible murderous beast of a father even though he most likely didn't even know what he was doing.
@@theprofitdirector3946 Unfortunately, WWE can’t control what everyone says about them, the police reports were the ones who discovered what happened the day after their deaths, which wouldn’t be a good look if they kept acknowledging him in a positive light publicly, so best they don’t at all acknowledge what the general public at that point knows is a murderer while also limiting the amount of headshots done to prevent the same thing happening again.
If Miss Elizabeth has a Legends deal then the Hall of Fame definitely a real possibility cause that means the family has a working relationship wit WWE at the moment
The Benoit one still hurts after all these years. Sometimes, I wish that he'd died before that weekend and he never got to commit those horrible acts. As stated, one of the best in-ring performers of all time, but his final acts were just horrific.
you should never say never with some of them. Vince is no longer, HHH is in charge and it because of him JEFF JARRETT, ULTIMATE WARRIORS, CHYNA are in their.
The Owen thing is so stupid, his wife shouldn't have a say over his actual blood-family. It was a freak accident, and many performers have done zip line entrances (HBK for Wrestlemania XII comes to mind), as well as Sting doing one countless times. Looking back, it's crazy how he never had an issue, especially how quickly he would do the 'reverse escape' and had to attach the cable quickly. I can only assume that they did A TON of practice and covered all their bases by testing every single cable, pulley, and harness every time. Owen unfortunately, was just a really bad freak accident, though, and his ex-wife needs to move past this, it's been close to 3 decades. As I said, his actual family should be able to make the decisions like a potential Hall of Fame induction. This is especially true after the length of time that it has been and that there should be a law that releases the ability to speak on behalf of your widow after so long. This is especially true since his family is a wrestling family, and he wasn't 50 or 60 and has been with his wife for 40 years...he has been gone over twice as long as he was with his wife at this point. I'm just saying, and not trying to sound cold...but at some point, you have to let go of things. I can't stand Cornette but who cares about "homophobic comments"? I say that because, there is something called 'freedom of speech' regardless of whether I like the person saying the things or not, and secondly, I guarantee nothing he said was even bad, but people are so sensitive that they think just making a passing JOKE comment, is somehow the "worst thing ever". In fact, wokey's believe that serial killers, murderers, serial r*pist, and pedo's are less bad than racists because they're lunatics. That's why they are all about forgiving these unforgivable people, but will wish death upon someone who just makes a passing joke they deem "-phobic" or "-ist".
Elizabeth doesn't really deserve it. She was statuesque, but just too limited. She couldn't bump, she couldn't promo, she couldn't interfere in matches. All she could do was stand there and look sick to her stomach when Savage was in trouble. Whoever heard of a team where the wrestler could give promos but the manager couldn't?
You should induct the wrestler and not the person if these 10 would be inducted and if you focus on the wrestling aspect then I think that's possibly. Although obviously it will come with controversy and questions as to why they would induct them
