I would highly recommend you watching this show from the beginning, the success of this show is very similar to the success of Friends in the US; the most successful and best loved sitcom in the country
You're journey watching the funniest comedy Britain has ever produced is about to begin!! At it's peak 27 million viewers in the uk ( population of 65 million) xx love ya man, you will love this show xxx
It's bloody good and a staple. But come on. Peep Show, The Office, One Foot In The Grave, Brass Eye, Alan Partridge, The Royle Family. I don't think there could be a "best".
The scene in the bar was done by chance, The actor playing trigger was appearing in a theatre just literally around the corner from where only fools was being filmed. In between acts of the play he came over to play this improvised scene which was done in one take he then went back to continue the play in the theatre, and is the best deal and trigger moment and indeed voted no1 scene of the entire series.
So you finally got around to the funniest TV show this side of the pond , ever!!! Only fools and horses was voted the best comedy of all time by a land slide. Here are some of the classic funniest screnes. Batman and Robin. Chandelier. Trigers broom.
There's a third instance of the 'turn your hands over' gag where Del Boy's son Damian tells Rodney (or 'Dave') that he can make him turn his hands over without touching them. Rodney puts his hands out and Damian then points his Nerf\BB\toy gun at him and says 'turn them over,' which he does lol
In case you don't know, the reason why they laugh every time he calls him Dave is because his name is Rodney and only Trigger calls him Dave because for some reason he think's that's his name.
One of Triggers best limes was when he got a medal from the council for services to the community or something and he says hrs had the same brush for about 20 years... its had 10 new brush heads and 12 new shafts over the years 🤣
It's funny you said "couple sandwiches short of a picnic" because a line very similar (which may or may not apply to Trigger I can't remember) in the show is "an olive short of a pizza" haha
Jeremy Beadle was a prankster. He had a TV show on British TV where he would setup elaborate scenarios on someone who was setup by someone they knew, it would usually get pretty crazy and then he would pop out.
Fun fact: Trigger calling Rodney "Dave" was meant to be a one off thing at the very beginning of the show, but it turned out to be a running joke for the entire series spanning what, 20 years or so? Bloody brilliant!
8:03 Jeremy Beadle was a popular Tv presenter in the 1980s who became famous for playing elaborate pranks and hidden camera stunts on members of the public.
Lolly Savage a drag act very famous here, the character was retired in 2005 but the guy playing the character died 3nmonths ago. Much loved and missed tv presenter.

rodney: yeah,it's like two decades
trigger: i wouldn't go that far but it's a long time

Best comedy to come out of the UK and it’s not even a debate!
It is great, but Fawlty Towers is better, oh and shorter
@@MegaWilmington Porridge :)

Rising Damp. I agree with Fawlty Towers being better,OFAH had got worse near the end.

@@kerryannestevenson6099 He was indeed, we all loved him..
Trigger always calls Rodney, Dave. Even when one time Rodney corrected him, Trigger listened and then said “sorry, Dave”

Dave's name is Rodney.
I have never seen your channel before. What a brilliant laugh! And what a brilliant clip (the legendary bar scene) to start with :)

My favourite character in any series ever!
I've been told by my dad due to my learning difficulties "I'm a trigger"
Fun fact: Trigger calling Rodney "Dave" was meant to be a one off thing at the very beginning of the show, but it turned out to be a running joke for the entire series spanning what, 20 years or so? Bloody brilliant!
In Liverpool there is an Only Fools and Horses theme bar

The late Roger's daughter is Emily Lloyd...........
Just a heads up Bro, Jeremy Beadle done a UK TV show in the 1980's where he would set people up for pranks.
Why the copyright text five times? Surely once would be enough. Good reaction video to the best most funniest ever moment in British tv comedy!
An actor truly loved by millions
Jeremy Beadle did a modern version of Candid Camera
Total winner... only problem is you will need a cockney dictionary 😂😂

The actor Robert Lloyd park is the father of actress Emily Lloyd xx
'orrible with Johnny Vaun is hilarious if you can find it. Ideal too.
Actor Nick Lyndhurst who plays rodney is appearing in the new fraiser reboot
