Such an eclectic mix of books!
@@SharonReads I like to keep a variety of genres going. If I read too many of the same type I can get burned out.
I really liked The Doomsday Book by Willis! I read it a year or two ago, I should probably pick up the next one in that line soon.
Tress wasn't my favorite Sanderson, but it's cute. Have you read any T Kingfisher? I wonder if you would like some of her stuff. A Wizard's Guide to Defensive Baking, or Minor Mage have a similar tone and feel to Tress. Her adult works are edge of horror (not quite, more like terror), but I have loved Nettle and Bone (a scary fairytale-esque story), What Moves the Dead (Think fall of the house of Usher, with sci-fi terror), and Bryony and Roses (reimagined Beauty and Beast).
I am enjoying the historical mysteries by Mary Stewart, and want to begin reading Josephine Tey this year.
@@novelideea What Moves the Dead sounds like a book I’d enjoy. I might check that one out!
