From time to time i come back to youtube and watch this. This was the last time i seen The Muffs play live and that was my 1st time at Amoeba. Good times. Favorite Muffs song "Big Mouth". Underground Classic would be "End it All".
Never got to see this band live. This performance would've been a dream come true. I miss Kim and her infectious energy, and imagine how that would've been in person. It's also very entertaining to watch Roy powerhouse the kit :)
It's funny when they talk about the Sad Tomorrow video playing twice on MTV. I happened to be watching that night, and I recorded the video. It was the first time I had ever seen the Muffs. I just happened to hit record. I may even still have the tape.
I really wished they came to Florida back in the day. Loved this band. Loved Kim’s raw energy and cuteness. Will always listen to their stuff. I’m now collecting as many vinyl records as I can find. Missing her a lot.
Ahhhhh!!!! Twenty-Years ago!?!? I got it then, it was just released. Shit. I guess the kids are right. I'm old. Well, I had some great times (and some really bad times) and the Muffs made for many of them (the good times I mean, although they did make some bad times better). Love em.
I found out about the Muffs from a dollar CD I found in a record store once. I always thought they were skating music. What king of music is the Muffs?
Pro tip: If you’re going to film a band, try to get as close as you can to the center of the room (usually where the sound guy is) for best audio. Then zoom in the camera if you must (sacrifice some visual clarity for the audio) and try not to move the camera, try to steady it on something. Thanks all the same. Love some Muffs! Rip Kim
Bit extreme, and silly. There is no such place where people burn. Hell, Austria does not even have a crematorium. Hell, Nevada USA might but I'm not familiar with that town. We have lost Kim and are all grieving in our own way. This is your way apparently. I get it. But consider, please. Do you think Kim lost much sleep over any up or down thumbs she received or cursed wished them damned to a fictional eternal place of torture? She was very happy with her lot in life in the and the many people who loved her and her music were certainly more powerful than any negative persons. Just my two cents, even if they prove worth far less.
@@imvandenh Ha. Wow. It was a playful joke. I guess it reads a bit more strict, but I really wasn't serious. Maybe the humor button wasn't pressed last night while I was typing! I don't think she'd care either way about it, no. Probably the more antagonizing the better for her, I presume.
@@theedorbs I shared your comment with Ronnie and he thought it was hilarious! He recognized that it was humor and your love for Kim shone brightly in your lighthearted comment.

One of THE best albums of the 90s...No shit!
100% agreed! Their first one is also insanely awesome. Hard to decide which one is the better one...
Ronnie and Roy are absolutely killing it, filmed from this angle you can really notice how hard the drums and some bass parts are, amazing!

Kim Shattuck had such a wonderful voice. The female voice of the 90s.
Roy McDonald is such a badass drummer! He's so under-rated.
Cannot agree more , he is an absolute monster on drums
For sure. I got some Keith Moon vibes watching him play.
Agreed. And very entertaining to watch.
He plays like Kieth Moon circa 1965...
Not only amazing for a woman in her 50s, but amazing for anyone period.
That's the tragic thing. Kim wasn't done. She was working her ass off making great music until the very end.
I agree: Kim had great music and great presence.
Got to see Kim as a member of The Pandoras in the 80's. Always dug her, and yes, had a massive crush on her. ❤
Kim, your music Is eternal! Miss you, rip.
We were there. It was wonderful.
RIP Kim. Love you forever.
Great set! They should have been huge in the 90s.
Great live.. Roy is a great drummer.. Rovine, love you.. Kim, the love herself.. My favorite Muffs lp live.. Thanx..
Sorry, Ronnie!

Love and miss you Kim!
Absolutely rad and I might have to grab a copy of the vinyl.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Kim is my favorite female musician, and i'm really sad today, but Kim said there'll be no sad tomorrow
Jeez, Roy is a monster drummer. Kim and Ronnie are lucky to have him.
RIP Kim 💜✌🏻
so good.

Frame to whole band too.
May you burn in hell if you thumbs-downed this. (Sorry, this was a joke. Thumbs down to my joke.)
