Hi Don! I am very excited about this radio. It is, in my humble opinion, the prettiest Silvertone they made. And what a performer! It has been rocking the bench for the last couple of days. I didn't expect such sound from the little 6 inch side-fired speaker. This will be my nightstand radio. I also have a model 4565 awaiting restoration, in need of a power transformer. I have watched the restoration series of your 4569. It gave me the inspiration needed to dive in mine. And what exceptional work have you accomplished! My cabinet actually has some veneer cracking in the curved part, and several chips missing on the back side. Potentially a future project! It's too bad because I think the finish could look fantastic after a little rejuvenation. One thing I forgot in the list is that the volume control and power switch are both bad. Notice I didn't touch the volume once in the video... Once I find a correct replacement I will perform the last repairs and start enjoying this radio at its full potential.
