When would I have to set the unit number? I have two air handlers connected to my Fujitsu outdoor heat pump. Both wired controllers are set to unit number 00. When would I have to set them differently? Main reason why I'm asking is, I installed a UTY-TTRXZ1 thermostat converter and everything is installed correctly, but the air handler does not come on. I'm wondering if I have to change the unit number using the old Fujitsu wired controller prior to installing the converter and a standard thermostat.
I have a auu18rfl unit with wired controller and setting 42 and 48 set to "01". The controller still shows a key when I try to enable "thermo sensor." Why can't I enable the thermo sensor setting? I cang find any info.
You ever figure this out? I have a auu18rfl unit with wired controller and setting 42 and 48 set to "01". The controller still shows a key when I try to enable "thermo sensor."

This video is particularly hard to use. 1/10.
This video is bad. It has no context to explain why someone would want to do this. Fail.
You would do this if you want to use the controllers thermostat instead of the unit which in my case was in the attic.
This should be the default. Why would anyone want to use a temperature sensor in some remote crawl space rather than the one in the room?
The presentation was big gay.
