If you have the traxxas stability management(tsm) you will be able to get off the line quicker and have less spin outs which will make it easier to drive with all of that power

GREAT YOU HAVE JUST ABOUT GOT WHAT I AM AFTER. I HAD A MONSTER TRUCK THAT WHEN YOU FLIPPED IT HAD BODY ON THE UNDERSIDE. SO WORKED BOTH WAYS UP. IT ALSO CLIMBED WALLS AND FLIPPED. IT WAS STOLEN SOME YEARS AGO AND NOT BEEN ABLE TO FIND ANOTHER. DO YOU KNOW OF SIMILAR ONE ?

The esc will only take up to 3s

Should I get a Slash VXL 2wd or a Rustler VXL for my first RC?

I highly recommend the Traxxas Slash VXL for your first RC.
Not only is it a great short course truck if you ever get into competition racing, it is one of the best general RC bashers we have ever had.
The Slash is bigger RC that gives you tons of features and upgrades.
The Rustler is a great RC as well, but we have just come to appreciate the look and performance of the Slash.

I got the Slash VXL 2wd and it's awesome. One question though. How much sag do you want in the rear. Mine seems to sit pretty low and doesn't have a ton of rebound. With a battery in the A Arms sit past 90 degrees. Is that normal or should it be addressed?
@pitdog360 i just bought it thos afternoon and i love it. Great control and speed. This is my first rc and i really enjoy it. Its so fun! Have fun bro! 👊👍
