And I will stomp on them😁🇬🇧💙👍
OHHHH HEWL YAH BBBAAABBBYYY! INCLUDING THEIR HEADS CHOP OFF.
IZ GOT TO SEE THESE KIDZ LIVE.!
❤🎉
First saw Taj Mahal in 1973. Been "recycling the blues and other related stuff" ever since.
!
Taj!
So I am 72.5, and I missed seeing TajMo and Keb Mo. I listened to some of their music, but at the time I was more into pure rock, and had a rock band, and I owned a Fender Strat (which I still have, any offers?),,, ah I ain't selling my Peggy Lou to nobody. I am enjoying this video so much,,, I feel like taking out my Taylor acoustic and using a slide on it, which with amplification and some controls, makes a mean sound. Hope you youngens are enjoying this, because it don't get no better than this, when it comes to BLUES!
Taj Mahal has nothing left to prove. He's cool, suave, and beautiful. I've been a fan since about 1972. I've seen him live several times over the years. He really brings the goods to the stage. God Bless him and may he continue to make people dance until his last days. And though I don't really know as much about Keb Mo as I should, he's smoking hot as is this entire group. Horn sections are so nice in this setting.
Keb Mo and "The Subdudes" was a regular Wed. lounge act in Denver in the late 80's. Undiscovered and humble as the day was long. Fun times!
A buddy bought me a Taj Mahal record for my 14th birthday , and I've been enjoying his music ever since , I'll be 69 in August. Keb Mo is equally awesome. Thanks for this awesome concert.🥰
What album was that?
Keb Mo is a living proof that you don't need to play long solo blues to be considered one of the greatest blues guitarists. Keb Mo's phrasing and control is perfect.
Two of my favorite bluesmen playing together, and that band is TIGHT!!
I'll give two thumbs-up to the recording engineer!
Lucky enough to see Taj in the early 70's, he did cuts from The Real Thing and Mo Roots. Still loving him/ them.
That’s a a miracle in front of your eyes. Enjoy it all. It’s kind of a one-way trip. Thank you.
I had the pleasure of playing in a band that opened for Taj twice in the late '70s. Fast forward to 2017 and Taj and Mo' were on a tour stop here in Houston and I reacquainted with Taj met Mo' Not only are they both great artists but really welcoming people. They are both America's treasures.
Right on Eric...Isn't that cool!! I got a chance to hang out with Taj once.....just the two of us chillin' and rappin' for a couple of hours in the VIP room after his show. I had been a solo act on the road for a long time and he was a riot...giving me some great and hilarious advice. It was two of the best hours of my life!
⚘🎵💛🎵⚘❤
isn't it great the people you meet being in music. we're blessed brother.
That's awesome
I've seen Keb Mo three times & he was magnificent all three times! Thank you both!
Wish there was a LOVE button instead of a thumbs up, as thumbs up does not seem to do this justice but I pressed it anyway. Love both Keb Mo and Taj Mahal and the band is brilliant as well.
I knew i'd be back to listen again ,💗
Saw Taj Mahal at Salt in Newport,R.I. in 73; I wish I could shake his hand for all these years of making my ears happy. Mucho gracias senor!
Love this!!! Only thing missing is Corinna Corinna.......the very first song I remember hearing Taj sing.......many many many years ago....Thank you Steve....hope you are still somewhere groovin'.
A Treasure! Thank you!🌞🌞
I need to thank you Mister Taj Mahal & Keb' Mo' Band Live to share this magnificent performance with the jass and blues' lovers
The track Senor Blues blew me away on one of Taj's CDs, but this is mind blowing. I am about to get tix to see Keb Mo in SLO, CA, Fremont Theater 21-Sept-2023. I've seen Taj w/ Van Morrison in Santa Barbara two years ago, and just the song Queen Bee was worth the ticket.
Many thanks to muzone, this is absolutely rockin'!!!
Glad I found this again...much needed...
In 1970 I bought Taj’s album “The Real Thing” when I was in high school; then 2 years later I saw him at a concert in Seattle. Been a fan ever since. You go, Taj! ❤
Many many years ago, I saw Taj at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival (“Jazz Fest”) when both he & I were a bit thinner! Lol! His live show has such a calm and happy/fun vibe! He radiates such good feelings & genuine “coolness.” He had a great set & involved the audience with conversation. A gent & a real pro! ❤
Saw Taj Mahal back in the 70’s. Great concert!
Two national treasures. I am so happy this got suggested.
Amazing collaboration captured here!
this is magnificent
Geeze Louise, wot a freekin' BAND!!
...and what a magical set
OWW!
It just doesn't get any better than this!
I’ve been stuck in Chicago and know that feeling. Great combo band. Thanks for getting together. Great idea.

Qué belleza de concierto....!!! Lo adoro y los quiero para siempre
I love Taj Mahal, I saw in in London in the late 60's with his band at the time. He was supporting Johnny Winter who also awesome. He has improved with age, if that is possible. This is a great concert, thank you 👍💙🇬🇧😙
Unbelievable! This made me drink two glasses of B....T Rye! Thank God!
That keyboard player is one really top pro. Takes one to know one. This band is a great lesson in how to be soulful. The complexity in simplicity.
Peace and Love to you Darlins. Taj, I saw you in Disney world thirty something years ago. You still got it going on Dude, still a charmer and a half. And Keb and your beautiful daughters and your band. I’m dancing with y’all today. Thank you and keep up the good work. 🌹
When this popped up on TH-cam for the 3rd time, I decided I wasn’t looking for something else. Great choice. I got to see Taj many times in SoCal years ago. Always good. He came out clapping his hands only to a song called pushin and shoven. Had everyone on their feet in 10 seconds. He played warm up for Spirit at the Valley Music Theater in West Valley, LA. In the round and the stage rotated every 45 minutes. It was New Years Eve 1970-71. The late show was the great show. One cannot be certain but one could say everybody was tripping. The room was so electrically charged with energy one could just about see the music spinning out as the stage went round and round. Saw Keb Mo a few times here in the Midwest. Kept thinking how much he had the similar affect as Taj Mahal. This is proof and so welcome!!!
" .... wow Taj Mahal & Keb Mo together live ... this is mucho buêno ... "
This is one of the best shows I've seen in a long, very long time.
Lovin' this! Taj has brought so much joy to my life since the 70's. And Keb'Mo, what a duo!🤯
I love this music, yes! This is some good foot stumping, shake your body rhythms. You all showed out on You don't miss your water til your well run dry. The whole concert was excellent.
Gracias Mucho for posting this full concert!! I missed Taj and Keb in the USA, all their shows sold out. Now as I sit here in Pandemic isolation - this recording has brought such joy to my heart as I dance around my kitchen! Thanks to the Band and Taj's lovely daughters (Zoe & Deva)- you've all put a song in my heart, a glide in my step, and a sway in my ample hips once more! Peace, love and blessings to all. We will all get thru this, stay strong, love each other, help each other. Thank you Taj and Keb for the soulful gumbo pot of music! Thank you to the beautiful people of Espana, and thank you Muzone for posting! One Luv!!! Be Well All!
i just take it, fresh air, into this air. simple thihigs, the true thinks. apreciate your words.thanks
What a lovely comment ❤. And right back to you, doubled over! 🤗
Taj was keeping us happy in Bay Area in 60s. Love he's still and now with Keb.
Holy cow, this is an amazing recording!
Love Taj!!! A living legend!!❤❤❤
I'm one rough tough MoFo, but I weep tears of joy every time I play this concert.
This is soo much fun, and just brilliant. The first rock show I ever saw was 1968 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles when I was 20. Ten Years After with Alvin Lee and the Moody Blues, but the opening act was Taj. I've seen him several times since then, and it's always a great show. Then to play with Keb? Can't get much better than that.
Taj has been everywhere, he is like an old dust bunnie, behind every nook and cranny is a taj and has influenced many generations.
Ive watch this concert probably 9 times and I’ll probably watch it again. What a great performance by a great band and 2 great artists!!!!! Thanks for posting it
one of the very best in my rotation!
Thanks to Taj and Keb for keeping real Blues music alive and sharing it with the world.

So glad to come across this. Missed this show here in Telluride because, as usual, I was working a gig on the other side of town during this set. Had the pleasure of mixing a show with Taj back in the early ‘90s and he played thru my vintage Fender Super Reverb back in the mid 2000s. Always fun. My high school buddies would be real jealous if they knew.
Taj & Keb Make America BEAUTIFUL
Blues INCLUSIVE Bring Ppl TOGETHER Tru Humanitarians- Tru AMERICANS
No matter how hateful others act,
MUSIC will Always SAVE US!!
(Keb doing Great with Playing 4Change
Saw these brothers from another mother on this tour in Greenville, South Cackilacky in 2017. Taj Mahal is a National Treasure. Keb is too.
Diving Duck Blues is the defining song to me. A musical conversation between two best friends.
Had the honor to see these two Blues icons at the beautiful Santa Fe Opera House with Taj's daughters as backup singers. A magical night!!!
Oh Wow. Thanks for that wonderful news!
Zoe &Deva : Taj’s daughters.
I just came across this DAMM its's awesome!
We have lost our rhythm due to a pandemic. Including music in our healing routine is too fun to ignore. Treasures for sure. Followed for years with my husband a jazz enthusiast.
Un privilegio tenerlos en España de Europa..
Just found this again after spending all day with a friend who has Alzheimer’s. You guys are such a relief to the soul. God bless you and your incredible talents!
I've seen and listened to material from both these guys, but this is in the Top 3... easy. Excellent sound and video quality - my thanks to the engineers and lighting technicians who made it so nice for us watching it on the web.
She just wants to dance..love these 2 iconic Men of Blues. Flash backs from my past..Taj Mahal is such a historic piece of my musical memories. Thank God, I have a few fond memories of melodies.
Music is an inspiration. If only people could get into the healing purifier of music, melody, and peace.
Thanks so so much for this blessing.
Muchas gracias, Muzone, por compartir! (Jorge Villa).
Benn listenin' to Taj Mahal since high school and he sounds even better nowadays. I love the blues!!!
I first heard him in college. 1968.
OMG! I've been in love with Taj Mahal most of my life... he's so awesome!
I am in heaven listening to this. So so good I am so grateful for this. Real music incredible musicians. Music keeps me sane. Thank you
Yep.
I concur
Greatest collaboration in the history of mankind.
I saw Keb Mo solo acoustic at the Philadelphia Folk Festival. I dont remember when. He's one classy guy. Taj Mahal is always a classic.
AAAWWWW AND THEN SOME! The coolest cats, and each one of them totally on top of their game! What a pleasure ride of pieces, one as fun and good as the next. I can literally feel the joy and pleasure these musicians are sharing with each other, and also carrying over into the public. If they ever come this way, I'll be the first in line for tickets! You rock, guys! Thank you for the cool music!
WOW music for my soul, thank you for this music
Taj's voice was magnificent in 1969. Now it's Heavenly!
Taj is 78 years old in 2021.
We all get old......if we are lucky!
Taj brought joy to me amongst the deepest tragedies imaginable.
Thx to Raj and Kevin and the musicians stirring this pot of Gumbo majique
sweet taj really grabs sweet erma thomas here
the hear in my ears anyways
any other suggestions ?
saying come on people join this groove on a groove
never seen him like this before
Stumbled upon Taj a couple of years ago. Listened to his first album on TH-cam. After that I bought an original copy on vinyl. Now a couple of years later I have quite a few of his records. Amazing artist and in my view really underrated.
First time I heard Taj Mahal it was on a German radio station, some time around 1968-1970. Doing 'Oh Susanna' with a tin whistle and 9 tubas. I was smitten. Then I found out that he was a student to Mississippi John Hurt. Opened a whole new world to me.
Don't know when I didn't hear Taj. One of the first not parents concert! Early Eighties, still strong as bull! Keb is a huge bonus!
@@scottyuhas1379 Taj & I went to Stockbridge School of Agriculture at UMass Amherst . Graduated 1963. I ended up in Portland, Maine. Taj played there often.
Make sure you get his live album from the early 70's with the tubas. It's incredible!
@@curtrice6060 cool memory Curt
Good to see a big Jazz band with very, very experienced individuals playing a great selection of music for the heart and soul.
Thank you for your work!
TajMo -- what a great combo!!
Keb'Mo' in his music is every thing : blues , jazz , soul and great feeling . That's what i love . Thx Keb'Mo' .🍺
Andrzej Nacwin for me keb mo with Chang Beer 🇹🇭
Yes Keb’Mo is so versatile and universal, and can be very jazzy just like Stevie Wonder can, while blues is always the core of his music. Keb’Mo is the savior of the blues, which has long been contaminated by rock tainted white blues.
@@Pop25m You need a better beer for Keb Mo.
I also turned 69 in August & I got turned on to Taj with “Giant Step” in 1970 It’s lifelong music indeed
I am just enjoying pure blues, I am a fan of taj mahal and keb mo is a good combination to express the purity of the music.
So great! Thank you all for your artistry heart and work
Thank you for sharing this rare and magnificent concert by true artists! God bless everyone from Patrick

Fabulous and heartwarming pure musical love right there! It's my biggest dream of right now- to see Taj Mahal live, once in our mutual lifetime! I love the old blues so, and he's the best bridge between then and now that there is. Respect!
