- Went hiking for a pre birthday celebration on July 12th and we stumbled upon the Bruler Fire in Oregon, 8 miles from Detroit Lake. The Fire was 10-15 acres and as of posting this video it is now estimated around 155 acres. So sad this is happening again all over Oregon and other states. Please do not make camp fires while camping.

Thank you Zak! Took my girlfriend from the 20 to the 22 on the 11 on the 4th and found fireworks at one of the dispersed sites along the river, gave them to some U.S forest service guys up the road. Hope it doesn’t hit the old growth patches up there.

Wow, that's a pretty neat time lapse! But I hate seeing our forests burning...
It’s the worst. I hope this video will help make someone think before they build a camp fire next time. Also how important it is to put these fires out sooner than later.
