Hi, Ramsey! Thank you for this first impressions. Agree with you, it’s a beautiful floral fragrance. Dmitry Bortnikov blends florals with citruses like an absolute master, this combination is mind blowing. It’s one of the most beautiful floral fragrances I have smelled.
This was the only bortnikoff I pulled the trigger on for a full bottle after rigorously testing out his entire lineup. This is the perfect Oud-yellow floral composition that I thought I’d use the most around the weather I reside(Bangladeshi). True to its nature.
The word sinharaja means Lion king. Fantastic review. Can’t wait to hear what you think about the two newest additions to Bortnikoff (oud Al sultan and voyage oriental) with the samples I sent you.
@@RamseytheRam I just got amber cologne and oud cologne decants for now, going to try to reign it in and not get 100$ of samples every other week hahaha. If I am Gaga for one of those I will probably sample a whole bunch!
@@RamseytheRam I'm looking for easy to wear summer scents that have tropical, citrus, green vibes at the level of roja or what I'm hearing about bortnikoff. I probably should have got the sinharaja sample but it sounds like it might lean a little femme. Any advice for something that fits the bill? My sample for isola blu comes in soon. I didn't like the edp, but I also didn't like vetover and apex edp but loves the parfums.
Testing it today, I have this on my right hand and Oud Loukoum on my left hand. Sinharaja is fine, I do appreciate it but it’s not for me but I would want to smell this on a woman. Oud Loukoum on the other hand is AMAZING and I hope you get your nose on that one soon, would love to hear you opinion.
This is pure magic in high heat. At first it looked like an out an out feminine fragrance. I was wrong. Its perfectly unisex & a must have in my collection.
I have Sinharaja sample and it's ok but leans a little feminine to me. I got more an apricot vibe from it (or ylang). My favourite oud jasmine is by Miyaz called Oud Tabac which has a lovely slightly challenging jasmine in it as well. In my top three favourite tobacco frags as well.
I just dug this out of my sample box to retest it. Isn't my favorite. Well-constructed but this is Bortnikoff done florals but it's too much jasmine for my nose. Oud Maximus 19 and Triad remain my favorites from the line!
Yes this is one of his impressive work! Multifaceted, the sandalwood twist in the end is truly brilliant!! (Areej's classic collection is coming up, can't wait....🤩🤩🤩🥳🥳)
Hear ya on this one Rams , I have a sample somewhere and on sniffing it back in the day when it first arrived,it didn’t have enough barnyard Hindi punch like the other Bortnikoff I fell in love with ,so I passed on full bottle on it . Great review brother ✌️🙏👍
Man, would I like to check out a jasmine oud. I love jasmine, but I'd be worried that it would smell too feminine. I have a mind-blowing rose-oud bomb, Jazeel Ghala, all naturals and as masculine as something like this can be but, rhetorically speaking, how far can a guy go with jasmine? 😄 Edit: 5:20 answers my question i guess

Lovely. Well done, Ram, good coverage on this one - IDK how it flew completely off my radar
Thank you I hope you get a chance to sniff it 🥂

Sorry correction "Fleur Tabac"
And I am not confusing O S with Sayat Nova which is obviously a boozy apricot

Yes I have never smelled Oud Maximus 19 but I love my 2020 bottle & Triad is fantastic... I did a review on the channel a while ago 🙂

Hi Ramsey, thanks a lot for this. Always insightful and informative!
Appreciate the support 🍻
Thanks for the first impression! I completely forget how this one smells. Need to grab another sample soon.
Hate it when that happens

Yes solid release but wouldnt go flying out to by a bottle ✈️
How is it compare to coup de foudre..?
Never smelled that one sorry

I think anyone can wear this ...but I I think the jasmine does lean slightly feminine
... this would smell killer on a lady 🙂
