Hi. Great review. I’m pretty new to the stars and I only buy more stuff but see less results… Maybe it’s because night time is at night and I love my sleep too much. Did you take those pictures from a dark location or simply your back yard. I’ve got a nice balcony and looking to see if I could get away from traveling at night…
I like sleep too so am an unlikely astronomer! I now look for setups they are quick (grab and hold) so I can observe for an hour or so - it works for me. The pics with the dwarf were taken from my back garden. I live in a village with fairly dark but not very dark skies. These scopes are very clever, and can produce pics that your friends will like, but it’s very different from visual observing. Over the years I’ve often found myself buying equipment and not using it enough. Probably the trick is to use the kit you have until it becomes the weak link. Easy to say though. Clear skies.
Mine is in the box till they come out with Star atlas integration, makes a Hugh difference and been spoiled by the Seestar app, so much better with star atlas in built, just klick on object in atlas and goes there no trouble
I find it better for the experience! It may be harder to use (Talking about the Dwarf II) but that’s the fun of it! Experimenting, getting used to it, it’s always super fun!!
Great fun little scope, purchased one recently and I'm more than happy with the results obtained so far.
Damn, that is insane images for a little camera!

Still a long way to go, no star atlas intergration like Seestar, and still needs a bigger data base
I only take mine out to charge the batteries.until they vastly improve the software/firmware. I much prefer the SS50. Thanks for the review
Same but the portbility for the dwarf II is pretty slick
The future's telescope... 100mm or 127mm👍👍👍

A bit of competition in the market helps, unless you are Vaonis or Unistellar of course! Clear skies Dennis!
My dwarf2 wont even power on now? But when I plug in to mains battery lights come on
Frustrating. Might be worth messaging Dwarf.
@@JenhamsAstro have done but no reply
Took dwarf back where I bought it the say it will be the circuit what's gone, so I've place an order for the dwarf3
The ZWO Seestar 50 is far superior to the Dwarf II. It takes far better images and had a major company behind it.
Yeah, it is not much more tbh than the Dwarf 2

true
So do you expose 15 seconds on most objects?
So far I’ve experimented with 5, 10 or 15s exposures.
I often go Gain100 to 130
ive been trying to fiure that out. So that high of a gain wont blow the picture out or can that be fixed in post?
