    Hi Sir, I'm a telco Engr. I'll share you some knowledge on why mahina ang na kukuha naten signal. It's not about malapit or malayo ka sa cell site. Mayroon po Kasi kami ng tinatawag na carriers per band. And limited lng po ung user per carrier. Meaning. Kung sa isang carrier is 100 user ang Naka konek. Mahina talaga ang ma kukuha nyong signal kasi naghahati Hati po Kayo. Hope this helps. 👌

    Another comment sir, if I may. Just want to share what I've read when I did my research on 5G few weeks back: 5G won't render your 4G phones obsolete, even if 5G were fully rolled-out now. This is because 4G transition to 5G is not like the transition from 3G to 4G. 5G is heavily dependent on 4G networks, it's like they have a mutualism going on. By the time 5G networks are in full capacity, 4G will also benefit from it and will be much stonger, since 5G can't be strengthened without making LTE more powerful first (like earlier mentioned, 5G is dependent on 4G). So far the benefits from 5G I'm looking forward to is having greater LTE signals in places where it used to be almost absent. Di ko na kailangan umakyat sa second floor just to get better LTE 😅

    If you're planning to keep the same device for 2 years or more, 5G should be include your options. Just like 3G, when 5G becomes dominantly available, 4G will start to slow down. Imagine when 3G can be used to access the internet, but now, it can no longer be used the same way.

  • @PreciousFew6110
    @PreciousFew6110 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    Hi Pinoy Techdad, as an additional to the 5G technology, coverage ng 5G technology is mas narrower compared sa 4G so telcos need to install more cell sites for wider 5G coverage and that poses a problem since madaming private owned lands and buildings ang kailangan nilang bilhin or rentahan. Also, they are having trouble installing and maintaining cellsites sa rural areas dahil sinisira ito ng mga taong labas. Humihingi ng monthy lagay perhaps.

    Hi, Pinoy Techdad. I'm just wondering, if may advantage din ba ang paggamit ng 4G phone on a 4G-only location versus using a 5G phone on a 4G-only location. Parang wala pa atang 5G dito sa Calamba pero ginagamit ko po ngayong phone is 5G na. Does it make any difference if the user will stick na lang muna to 4G phone in the meantime?

      Ano pong phone mo? Xiami Redmi or Poco? If maalin po jan, bug po yan ng MIUI. Yung kawork ko po 5g ang signal pero yung phone nya po is 4G LTE capable lang. Chineck ko rin sya sa settings.

      @rhapsodee5230 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Is your phone 5G capable or you're using a 5G sim on a 4G phone? To answer you're question naman po... 4G lang po ang masasagap mo na signal kasi Metro Manila pa lang ang meron 5G signal, limited pa lang. Sana makatulong.

    • @pinoytechdad
      @pinoytechdad  2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      wala naman advantage sir if ever you will switch back to a 4G signal. Pero what you can do with your 5G phone is just turn off the 5G para hindi na siya magsayang ng power searching for a 5G signal. So bale 4G/LTE/3G band lang gagamitin nya thus makakatipid ng konting power.

    • @heubertkhanmichael5239
      @heubertkhanmichael5239 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      The only difference is that your 5G phone will consume more power if you're using it in a 4G area location. Your phone will use a lot of power to keep looking for 5G networks, so if you're almost always in a 4g-only area, turn off the 5G capability first to make your phone more battery-efficient.

    d naman kelangan sa ngaun, if may available na 5g service sa area mo and may 5g device ka maganda..pero kaht ma upgrade na mga towers sa full 5g d naman ma phase out ang 4g devices, dahil un na ung base na lte data connection..it will just make your 4g signal stronger since mas maraming towers sa location, so meaning less latency sa lte speeds..and let's face it, ilang taon pa aabutin bago ma achieve ang true 5g service, kaht na sa ibang bansa napakarami pang locations na walang 4g at kaht nga lte hirap parin..so no need to worry for lte/4g devices..most na kelangan mo palitan is ung sim card mo, para mas provisioned sya sa newer signal na binubuga ng mga towers..

    The point is 5G is much more better overall than 4G aside from coverage.
    For gamers: Less ping, Less Jitter, less lag are good enough to change to 5G.
    For Consumers: 4G Full bars is still so slow when many people are using. 5G has more Bandwidth and Capacity, there is no such thing slowness. Theoretically 100K people using the same time will still get 30 Mbps, at Below 100ms ping, which is very good.

    • @paulssnfuture2752

      Still limited coverage... walang incentive ang kahit anong provider to place 5G networks in not dense populated like Metromanila or city centers...
      Baguio kahit desnly populated sa malapit lang sa SM ang meron, else where in baguio 5G is just a dream.
      Kahit normal nga na signal problema parin sa CAR and Northern Luzon.

Malamang Hindi na. Nakapag 5g na ako red magic 5g and rog phone 3 may 5g nadin sa Lugar Namin.
