Damn, this is gorgeous. It's better than the original (no jab towards Uematsu -- he just worked with the resources he had). I haven't heard your music for a while so the first thing to hit me here is how good your orchestration is now. You've certainly never been a weak orchestrator but it's clear to me that you've improved a lot. I can tell this piece from FFVII is close to your heart because you've treated it very well. Great job! Post your original orchestral works here as well.
