Parque San Martin, a big and beautiful urban park in the heart of Salta, Argentina, is a wonderful place to explore on a nice, sunny spring day. Hi there! Actually, "las Yungas" the rainforest you saw at the museum, is part of a bioregion characteristic of the Andes mountain range and is located in the province of Salta. Lush vegetation in, as you mentioned, otherwise arid high-desert environment.
