Argentina has to be the most beautiful country in the world. Greetings from Argentina
Looks like a beautiful place to visit or live! Thanks for sharing
Rosario my home town
That view!!! 🤩
Guess you're missing out great late Spring weather in Argentina Garry...just kidding, looking forward to your next steps up there. Cheers from Buenos Aires
Amazing view. Happy new year! Looking forward to seeing more of your videos in this new country
You were staying half a block from my home :))
One thing i like about cities in latin america outside of Argentina is how many cities are jammed inside a mountain valley, Santiago, Quito, Bogota, Arequipa, the list goes on, I know this brings a tone of problems with pollution, traffic, flooding, etc, but coming from Argentina everything is so goddamn flat here that the idea of watching a mountain from your apartment window makes me jealous
Colombia! good for you. All the Colombian friends I have , I met in Buenos Aires. I'm curious about the country. Especially Medellin ,Pereira, and then parts west and northwest. I'm told they speak with a very melodic accent. Stay safe. And I shall look forward to your travels in Colombia. cheers
Loved your Argentina videos man, I am grateful you felt so nice here. I hope you come back soon, would love to show you more parts of Buenos Aires you haven't seen
Thanks for another great neighborhood tour, looking forward to checking out Bogota with you!

Im from La Plata, worst city in argentia by far, especially winter nights are SO depressing
favorite museum ♥ it holds a big place in my heart because of its unique shark diorama (which is in the section that was under repairs :( )
Thanks Garry for your visit and your kind words about this country, enjoyed each and every series. Sad you're leaving us, but traveller must always keep moving on. Safe travels and see you on your next stop at Bogota
8:27 That old, huge white building is the courthouse, but be careful: it is infested with rats, some in elegant suits
🤣🤣🤣
I thought the most famous house in La Plata was the dentist Barreda
Show the food, prices, ride the bus, talk to people, do a video on the train.
I am from La Plata, I left Argentina 30 years ago.
Thanks for sharing another beautiful city
Hi Garry , i like your videos, i hope you come back soon to Argentina, good luck, greetings
Hi Gary I think I am the person that asked you where you’d want to live in Argentina. What you said makes perfect sense! The other nice cities are very remote there which is exactly what I had been thinking. Your ideas about La Plata are interesting also! The proximity to Buenos Aires make it a little more appealing. Do you think things are a bit cheaper there than in BA, or not really? And since you’ve been to Buenos Aires several times over the past few years, have you noticed that things have gotten alot more expensive - or maybe just a little more?
I don't think things are much cheaper in La Plata compared to BA. While La Plata is its own city, it is still part of the BA metro area. As for are things more expensive in Argentina now, definitely. The rate of inflation growth has been negative since the peak several months ago, but the actual year-on-year inflation is still the highest in the world. If your only reason for going to Argentina is because everything is really cheap, that was true a year or two ago, but not now. It's still more affordable cost of living than many other countries in the world, but it is significantly more expensive than it was in the past, and it is still getting more expensive. Still, I don't think cost of living should be the only reason to visit Argentina. It's a wonderful country and I still highly recommend you visit!
Why so much graffiti all over everything? What kind of people are walking around tagging walls? Are these street gangs? Aside from all the graffiti it looks like a nice city.
A lot of those are politics / football related. No gang related stuff. I was born in La Plata.
la plata is SO depressing, im from there... winter nights is literally empty full of graffiti i hate it man
Yo trabajo en ese barrio.
Muchas suerte con tu viaje a Colombia!!!
Gracias, Garry! Buen viaje!
Hi Garry, thanks for showing La plata, that neighborhood is called Tribunales
The top floor is full of labs. And the Egypt collection was actually a gift to the Argentine anthropology team that recovered them and saved them from destruction by the flooding when the Aswan Dam was built.
Take care Garry. La Plata is very beautiful which is why it catches of guard when you get robbed. Is not to scare you that I tell you this, just be aware if your surroundings. I lived there a few years and had a GF that I had to travel there to visit years after I moved out of the city. Love your videos.
Nice neighborhood!
The grills on the front of the Institecs are not actually rocketships but planes, because those cars were produced by the Military Planes' Factory in Córdoba. Created in 1927 as Fabrica Militar de Aviones, during Peron's rule it became a huge industrial conglomerate called Industrias Aeronáuticas y Mecánicas del Estado (State Aeronautical and Mechanical Industries)
some of the elements in the museum were built there, as the conglomerate consisted of 10 factories: planes, aeronautical engines, jet engines, Instruments, industrial machines, cars (Institecs, Rastrojeros & others) , motorcycles (Puma), tractors (Pampa), parachutes, sport boats, etc.
Super interesting! You always come with the knowledge my friend!
Another interesting video!❤ Thank you.
Nice series as always, now all that's left is your classic show us around the neighborhood video to wrap it up
What a great piece of history
So kind of David to show you around even though it was closed!
❤The museum is very interesting👍👍👍👍 and what a source of pride for Argentina that Vucetich has been used since then all over the world, not only by the police but also for the identification of people, not only criminals. That guy is a genius... How great and generous David, the museum worker, was for letting you in.
The "Mauser argentino" inscription on the machinegun refers to the kind of ammunition it used. But it is an american Browning machinegun, just modified to use that cartdrige
I love your videos. They are so interesting and informative. Thank you so much for sharing your findings.
Hey friend! Excellent video series in "La Plata". I wanted to visit it soon, there is a lot to see, very interesting! Arriving at a closed museum, hahaha, as happened to us in Villa General Belgrano, thanks to you I was able to record it 🤣. You are already finishing your visit to La Plata, with what new places will you surprise us!
haha yeah sometimes when the museum is closed it works out for the best! Saludos, amigo!
Awesome place!
Just great. Thanks for sharing!
There is a movie that was filmed in that house, it's called "El hombre de al lado". It's a very good movie indeed!
Great video and a very cool house! Thanks for sharing as always
It looks like it’s been modified here and there through the years (unsightly air conditioning units, piping, etc). It would be great if it could be restored to its original 1949 appearance.
