I just brought These after watching this review, they are small and extremely comfortable to wear. They sound loud clear and amazing, definitely hear the bass. I called my daughter and the call quality was very good, she could hear me clearly, I was impressed, it was better than I thought. My only negative about these are the connection, no visible lights to show its pairing. Overall pleased with my purchase. Thanks for the review.

I'm using Edifier TWS200, the sound is amazing. Using with Huawei Mate 9 Pro, it gives option to adjust the sound and equalizer in the stock music player.
Hi Sean, awesome review as always! I'm looking for buying or the TSW1 or the X3, as they're in sale in Brazil. The X3 is 15% cheaper here (really minor difference) and I want to know which earbuds should I pick. I pretty much only use them to workout (1h per day) and to go to college (3h max travel time). So, I don't think the battery difference will affect me that much. So, should I go with the X3 for it's portability and better sound or the TWS1 for the battery?
Hey there! Yeah get the X3 for the better sound. Its really the better option! For me, battery life is not much of a concern. 6 hours is plenty long. Haha

@@slowgirl2699 Eu acabei não usando muito eles porque não saio de casa, mas a qualidade sonora deles é espetacular, o perfil de som dele é muito bom (pra mim se equipara ao de um dos meus fones de gravação), é mais equilibrado e tal, sem muito exagero. Ele é muito portátil e a bateria dura muito. O único "problema" que tive é que só vem 3 borrachas e no meu ouvido eu gostaria de uma borracha meio termo entre a média e pequena, mas isso é bobeira. Não sei quanto ta valendo agora, mas eu paguei 130 importando e achei o valor muito bom pelo que entrega. Se achar nessa faixa de preço vendendo no mercado nacional compra na hora.
I’m using Jaybird freedom which has Balance Armature driver, but in terms of clarity for musical instrument i must say this X3 beats hell out of Jaybird even though only have dynamic driver..besides the trebles in Jaybird really hurt my ears..soundstage is waaay better in X3 too!
Thanks for sharing! Great observation there. I personally think BA earphones need to be coupled with as a multi driver to really perform. Either multiple BA drivers to drive different frequencies, or couple with a dynamic driver like the liberty 2 Pro. With that it'll make a more balance package overall 😄

Good day! Personally I would go with the Edifier X3. I think latency for gaming they are all the same, still some lag. There is no tws currently that is zero latency when gaming. So X3 sounds really nice, build quality is really nice. Sabbat sounds good, but i think for it's price build quality could be better. And the Outlier Air is quite expensive. Haha that's my thought. 😄

I was thinking of x3 over the gt1 for all aspect apart from gaming - gaming latency test for just gt1 plus, it's pretty low 250-280ms aptx similar to gaming mode feature on gt1 gt1pro. Nothing on x3 game latency testing though

Not gonna lie edifier always make a really good and decent earphone/headphone. The only real bummer is they are stillllll using micro usb. It's 2020 already, we should see type-c everywhere in a new product. Other than that, I can see that Edifier X3 is damn nice

Hi Sean, thanks for the video. I'm looking for a small form, light, noise cancelling earbuds for sleeping (with music) because I can't sleep with loud snoring in my room. Do you think this pair would be comfortable enough for sleeping, especially side sleepers? I can't really tell if the size is small enough to not jut out of the ear, which is the main problem making a lot of earbuds uncomfortable for sleeping.
Hi there. I would say the X3 is not really all that small, it does stick out abit. I feel when i use it on bed, it does kinda pushes on my ears a little. I would recommend the Haylou GT1 plus instead and it does have a smaller form factor. However, there's no ANC for these earbuds cuz usually earbuds with ANC will be slightly larger. Maybe consider a dedicated sleep buds like the Bose Sleepbuds 😄
Hey there, yea the X3 is pretty loud. But i think its subjective though, cuz i think the GT1 is also loud enough for me haha 😄 i dont listen to earphones too loudly i guess. Haha
Sean Talks Tech I only use the Haylou on my walks. They stay at max volume unfortunately. They are loud enough for hip hop and most compressed modern music but i have heaps of vinyl rips that are dynamic and are quite low in volume.

Hi there, I can't get the official X5 in malaysia, so I got the Chinese version which is XEMAL X5. Tested it, but wasn't very pleased with it. Call quality wise is also not very impressive. I'll drop a review on that soon. But I really hope when the proper Edifier X5 version comes out, it addresses some of its problems.

It is a very good and detail review. Cover mostly all of the questions regarding to this earbuds. But a piece of my advice you actually do not need to make the music so loud while you talk too softly. Quite uncomfortable when i need to keep adjusting the headset volume because the intro music is too loud and your voice is too soft then the background music cover mostly of your voice. It just my advice. Mayb others dont feel it.

Hey there, i haven't got the opportunity to test out the G1 Pro. But looking at how they're both spec, i think they are very similar earphones. I see the Havit has aptX support, meaning it should run the Qualcomm 3020 chip, which is a very good chip and also the Havit runs titanium diaphragm, which means it can support stronger vibrations hence better bass respond. Plus it looks damn good. Haha so my pick goes to the Havit 😄

Hey there. Much better. Although AKG branded, i think the OEM earbuds are just ok and very basic. These are nice, there's decent bass and gets very loud. Plus, the x3 is true wireless, a win in my books 😄
Call quality test started really great, but 3 seconds into it, the sound was laden with flutter, especially in noisy ambience. But otherwise, good product!
Thank you my friend. The bass definitely cannot beat the KZ S1. Those are quite bassy. But I recall the battery life on those isn't very lasting. These are great sounding too. And battery life is very long. But you'll be sacrificing a little bass. 😄

The few from Edifier that has good bass includes the TWS5 which is really thump. The new TWS1 Pro is also OK, but less powerful than the TWS5. The X3 amongst the few have a less strong bass signature. 😁
Hey thanks a lot! I think they are equally good, both sound signature is pretty much the same, same chipset, same aptX support. I think in this case its about which style you like. Personally, i much prefer the X3 haha
Hey there, yea its really useable considering this is true wireless, but does chop a little. Overall for the price, i can't complaint, considering when i use the TWS1 for calls, i get complaints that people can't hear me. But value for money on these pair, definitely!

Hi there, thanks for stopping by. Latency for videos and movies is great. Very low. However, for gaming, still some lag. So far no true wireless can properly handle games yet. As to riding a bike i think if you keep it close enough, it should be ok. But personally i have not tried it yet. Haha

I'm planning on upgrading my QCY T2C cos the right earbud has a lower volume than the left earbud. What is the best option if I have a budget of RM 100 - 200? I love the sound quality of my QCY's tho 😢😢. I prioritise the call quality also.
Hey bro. A few options I would recommend for that price point. Trueshift 2, Haylou GT1 Plus, this X3. These have very similar sound quality or even better than the QCY. However if you prioritize calls, maybe you have to consider airpod style eartips, because they have the stem that runs down, it makes the mic closer to your mouth, hence better call quality. Most True Wireless in Ears I've tested, usually have ok but not so good call quality since they are quite far away from your mouth. If you want to get one of the best Airpods style, I would suggest the Tronsmart Onyx Ace! Those are fantastic for calls.
Hi Sean. I’ve been watching most of your videos wrt the wireless earbuds. I hope to receive a reply from you soon since there’s a RM 99 sale for the X3. Anyhow before getting the X3 I’d like to know your perspective of the X3 as opposed to the other top notch budget brands in the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Airdots, Haylou GT’s and the rest in this price range category. Does the X3 out perform these in all categories. Really need your opinion on this , as Im in a dilemma on which to get. I’d prefer going with X3 but anyhow there’s not a single video making comparison of the X3 against the earbuds I’ve mentioned above. Hence, that got me undecided. Hi there. Sorry that I'm a little late with my respond. But i think the X3 is a good option for a budget earbuds. You won't go wrong. The Haylou GT1 plus and Xiaomi both sound almost similar to the x3 but the x3 wins a little with bass respond. The added benefit of the haylou is that it has controls to call out your assistant, apart from that, very similar earbuds. At RM 99, go with the x3, its a good earbuds :D
I'm getting my KZ S2 soon and I'll do a review on it. From what I understand about the S2, i think they will sound better than the X3. But i think the X3 has an advantage on the battery life.
Between the 2, i would say the Trueshift 2. It has a more dynamic sound signature, better bass. X3 does have the aptX support, but doesn't rival trueshift 2 in sound signature in this case. Don't get me wrong, both are nice earbuds on their own, only when you put it up for comparison, you can tell the difference 😉

Hey there, i personally think they're a little lose on my ears. I don't think it will hold up with running. They don't have wings and its shape is very slippery.
I kinda think the X3 is better value and bass is stronger. The TWS6 is very good too, compared to the X3, it's a more refined, more balanced earbuds. Bass is just a little bit less than the X3 but its there, along with beautiful crisps highs. The only downside of the TWS6, the price. 😄

I would say it really depends on what style of earbuds you need, tws200 is open style, so you get that open feeling and can hear your environment with the sacrifice being sound quality. If you're comparing tws1 and x3, I'll say go with the x3 because it sound way better than the tws1. If you want to look for a good pair of earbuds under RM200, I'm currently reviewing the MPOW X3 and those are great Value for money ANC earbuds for less than 200. Check out my video next week 😄

Hello, the GM4 is great for gaming, pretty bassy earbuds too. The x3 is also pretty good, small and easy to bring around. Does lag a little when gaming though.

These earbuds seem similar as I said and the price range is very different. Does the GM4 stand up to this price premium? Is it worth it?
So I'm not a hardcore gamer, personally I would go with the X3 cuz its actually a really great deal. Also, if micro usb is a turn off, you could try the upgraded x3, the X3-To-U edition. Those are the same, but it comes with type C. I'm about to do a review on those and it should be up soon.
Yeap i have, the x3's bass is strong but at higher volumes, so if you listen to them, pass 60% volume, i think you'll enjoy your EDM. But do remember, like most in ears, you need to get that good seal. 😄
Hey there. I would go with the X3. I think both sounds pretty similar, but i jz like the built of the X3 better, more solidly build. Both are actually not that suitable for PUBG. There is still minor lag when playing. AptX still not as fast as wired earphones.
Hey, it's in a different league in my opinion. Truengine 3SE has more dynamic range and better sound quality overall. The X3 is a budget earbuds and for a budget earbuds it is really good. 😄

Hey there, this earbuds is quite loose in my ears. They don't sit snugly enough for me, i personally think once it gets oily, it might fall out when jogging.

Ooh yea. Big problem for me too. Imagine travelling with a type c, a micro usb, and docks if you have smart watches. Annoying. 🙃
Magnetic USB cable with adapters is a good way to solve this problem. You need just one cable for all devices.

Hi Sean, thanks for the video. I'm looking for a small form, light, noise cancelling earbuds for sleeping (with music) because I can't sleep with loud snoring in my room. Do you think this pair would be comfortable enough for sleeping, especially side sleepers? I can't really tell if the size is small enough to not jut out of the ear, which is the main problem making a lot of earbuds uncomfortable for sleeping.
Hi there. I would say the X3 is not really all that small, it does stick out abit. I feel when i use it on bed, it does kinda pushes on my ears a little. I would recommend the Haylou GT1 plus instead and it does have a smaller form factor. However, there's no ANC for these earbuds cuz usually earbuds with ANC will be slightly larger. Maybe consider a dedicated sleep buds like the Bose Sleepbuds 😄

Hey there, yea the X3 is pretty loud. But i think its subjective though, cuz i think the GT1 is also loud enough for me haha 😄 i dont listen to earphones too loudly i guess. Haha
Sean Talks Tech I only use the Haylou on my walks. They stay at max volume unfortunately. They are loud enough for hip hop and most compressed modern music but i have heaps of vinyl rips that are dynamic and are quite low in volume.

Hi there, I can't get the official X5 in malaysia, so I got the Chinese version which is XEMAL X5. Tested it, but wasn't very pleased with it. Call quality wise is also not very impressive. I'll drop a review on that soon. But I really hope when the proper Edifier X5 version comes out, it addresses some of its problems.

Between this Edifier X3 vs JBL TWS 120, which one are better overall?
It is a very good and detail review. Cover mostly all of the questions regarding to this earbuds. But a piece of my advice you actually do not need to make the music so loud while you talk too softly. Quite uncomfortable when i need to keep adjusting the headset volume because the intro music is too loud and your voice is too soft then the background music cover mostly of your voice. It just my advice. Mayb others dont feel it.

Hey there, i haven't got the opportunity to test out the G1 Pro. But looking at how they're both spec, i think they are very similar earphones. I see the Havit has aptX support, meaning it should run the Qualcomm 3020 chip, which is a very good chip and also the Havit runs titanium diaphragm, which means it can support stronger vibrations hence better bass respond. Plus it looks damn good. Haha so my pick goes to the Havit 😄

Hey there. Much better. Although AKG branded, i think the OEM earbuds are just ok and very basic. These are nice, there's decent bass and gets very loud. Plus, the x3 is true wireless, a win in my books 😄

Call quality test started really great, but 3 seconds into it, the sound was laden with flutter, especially in noisy ambience. But otherwise, good product!

Thank you my friend. The bass definitely cannot beat the KZ S1. Those are quite bassy. But I recall the battery life on those isn't very lasting. These are great sounding too. And battery life is very long. But you'll be sacrificing a little bass. 😄

The few from Edifier that has good bass includes the TWS5 which is really thump. The new TWS1 Pro is also OK, but less powerful than the TWS5. The X3 amongst the few have a less strong bass signature. 😁

Hey there, yea its really useable considering this is true wireless, but does chop a little. Overall for the price, i can't complaint, considering when i use the TWS1 for calls, i get complaints that people can't hear me. But value for money on these pair, definitely!

Did you find problem with connecting both? Most TWSs show problem with syncing both at once. One gets connected others doesnt
think the only downside is the noise cancelling, it doesn't totally mute the background sounds

Hi there, thanks for stopping by. Latency for videos and movies is great. Very low. However, for gaming, still some lag. So far no true wireless can properly handle games yet. As to riding a bike i think if you keep it close enough, it should be ok. But personally i have not tried it yet. Haha

I would recommend the X3 To-u series. Or even better. Check out the newer Edifier tws 1 Pro. The spec and performance of that is really good 😁
I'm planning on upgrading my QCY T2C cos the right earbud has a lower volume than the left earbud. What is the best option if I have a budget of RM 100 - 200? I love the sound quality of my QCY's tho 😢😢. I prioritise the call quality also.
Hey bro. A few options I would recommend for that price point. Trueshift 2, Haylou GT1 Plus, this X3. These have very similar sound quality or even better than the QCY. However if you prioritize calls, maybe you have to consider airpod style eartips, because they have the stem that runs down, it makes the mic closer to your mouth, hence better call quality.
Most True Wireless in Ears I've tested, usually have ok but not so good call quality since they are quite far away from your mouth. If you want to get one of the best Airpods style, I would suggest the Tronsmart Onyx Ace! Those are fantastic for calls.

Hi Sean. I’ve been watching most of your videos wrt the wireless earbuds. I hope to receive a reply from you soon since there’s a RM 99 sale for the X3. Anyhow before getting the X3 I’d like to know your perspective of the X3 as opposed to the other top notch budget brands in the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Airdots, Haylou GT’s and the rest in this price range category. Does the X3 out perform these in all categories. Really need your opinion on this , as Im in a dilemma on which to get.
I’d prefer going with X3 but anyhow there’s not a single video making comparison of the X3 against the earbuds I’ve mentioned above. Hence, that got me undecided. Perhaps, you could make a comparison video on this. Anyhow please leave your thoughts, as the sale of RM99 is only for today.

Hi there. Sorry that I'm a little late with my respond. But i think the X3 is a good option for a budget earbuds. You won't go wrong. The Haylou GT1 plus and Xiaomi both sound almost similar to the x3 but the x3 wins a little with bass respond. The added benefit of the haylou is that it has controls to call out your assistant, apart from that, very similar earbuds. At RM 99, go with the x3, its a good earbuds :D

Between the 2, i would say the Trueshift 2. It has a more dynamic sound signature, better bass. X3 does have the aptX support, but doesn't rival trueshift 2 in sound signature in this case. Don't get me wrong, both are nice earbuds on their own, only when you put it up for comparison, you can tell the difference 😉

I kinda think the X3 is better value and bass is stronger. The TWS6 is very good too, compared to the X3, it's a more refined, more balanced earbuds. Bass is just a little bit less than the X3 but its there, along with beautiful crisps highs. The only downside of the TWS6, the price. 😄

I would say it really depends on what style of earbuds you need, tws200 is open style, so you get that open feeling and can hear your environment with the sacrifice being sound quality. If you're comparing tws1 and x3, I'll say go with the x3 because it sound way better than the tws1. If you want to look for a good pair of earbuds under RM200, I'm currently reviewing the MPOW X3 and those are great Value for money ANC earbuds for less than 200. Check out my video next week 😄

Hello, the GM4 is great for gaming, pretty bassy earbuds too. The x3 is also pretty good, small and easy to bring around. Does lag a little when gaming though.

These earbuds seem similar as I said and the price range is very different. Does the GM4 stand up to this price premium? Is it worth it?
So I'm not a hardcore gamer, personally I would go with the X3 cuz its actually a really great deal. Also, if micro usb is a turn off, you could try the upgraded x3, the X3-To-U edition. Those are the same, but it comes with type C. I'm about to do a review on those and it should be up soon.

Yeap i have, the x3's bass is strong but at higher volumes, so if you listen to them, pass 60% volume, i think you'll enjoy your EDM. But do remember, like most in ears, you need to get that good seal. 😄

Hey there. I would go with the X3. I think both sounds pretty similar, but i jz like the built of the X3 better, more solidly build. Both are actually not that suitable for PUBG. There is still minor lag when playing. AptX still not as fast as wired earphones.

Hey, it's in a different league in my opinion. Truengine 3SE has more dynamic range and better sound quality overall. The X3 is a budget earbuds and for a budget earbuds it is really good. 😄

Hey there, this earbuds is quite loose in my ears. They don't sit snugly enough for me, i personally think once it gets oily, it might fall out when jogging.
