I use this feature all the time just this morning I do wish you could lock the display button to the top bar of your screen like volumeb controls But I use the wireless all the time and it works surprisingly well everytime Also fun fact any Roku TV or Roku device can do this as well if you work from home

Tried doing it wirelessly (same WiFi network, Apple ID, both Bluetooth activated) and nothing is showing up. The devices are on the same account. Any clue what we are missing?? This happens especially after I let the devices to go into the "sleep mode" - after a display turns off when letting it couple of minutes unoccupied. Any advices? I prefer the wireless connection.
I've been facing the same problem until I did this: 1. Update both devices to latest software 2. Connect iPad to Macbook via Type-C cable 3. Click the screen mirroring icon on top right and leave it open 4. Screen mirror iPad to Macbook 5. Cancel the screen mirroring. The iPad should show up in your screen mirroring window on Macbook. Hope this works

This use to work on my macbook pro 2015 with ipad pro 2020, but now my ipad won't show as an option to screen mirror on ipad. Everthing is up to date, but nothing works, not even a regular monitor works on my macbook pro anymore. Any ideas why?

ipad uses its full resolution, uses the scaling from your mac
