It was impossible to figure out which bolts (not screws!) you were pointing to. If your blog provided better instructions, then it's a shame the blog no longer exists. You might as well remove this video, since it is completely unhelpful, and will only waste people's time when they're already frustrated enough trying to figure out how to align this crappy thing. Also, if I wanted to spend $65 on a gage, I would have bought a better saw. All that's really needed to test for square is, well, a square. Oh, and the music is annoying. All that said, I hope this comment will help you figure out why you have more downvotes than upvotes, and I do appreciate your attempt to be helpful.

@@LesignerGirl the motor is held to the frame by a pin that is clamped down by four nuts under the front of the aluminum table, ya gotta loosen them with a wrench and then line the blade up (of course tighten them afterwards). you can't use the fence, cause that's not gonna be straight either.

@@bobhowtoandtravel9551 Yeah, the fence is worthless in every sense of the word. Not only does it take time to get it even close to parallel with the blade, but the plastic piece on the clamp end also sticks out so it's impossible to get a straight rip with it anyway. I plan on making my own fence eventually, but first I need to get that blade aligned. I'll try to follow your instructions on Thursday when I have the day off work. Thanks in advance, and wish me luck!
