Just tried a tutorial it was way off. Trying to play along with this at half speed sounds much better. A few more tries and I'm good to go, thanks for the upload!
SSniperthewhitethunderwolf66781 That guy could sang!!! I tried to explain 'getting down' to my 18 year old son when he said I am wrong about Post Malone/ Ed Sher. being bland..lol...
If you watch any of the live concert videos or see Boston in person, Gary Pihl plays that classic opening riff on an acoustic 12 string. Tom plays lead and some crunch rhythm on his his Les Paul. Of course on the original record Tom played it all and who knows how many layers there were!
@@jamesjames9275 Rick Beato has an awesome "What makes this song great" that breaks it all down! Really opened my eyes and ears. BTW thanks for this and everything you do.

well it's about time... thanks bro!
About time? I originally posted it more than 5 years ago.
Good one.
Question..how many guitars do you own? ?That's a lot of great axes in your clips. All are the right choices for the songs..
Nice
What's the fingering for that chord after the C in the chorus? Sounds great!
I do that as Em with the high E covered at 3. On electric I'd barre that higher on the neck.
Louis Davout You can't see my answer? I ask that as a serious question.
Niccce!!!
Thx JJ

Did Tom Scholz use both an electric and acoustic for the main riff?
I don't hear an electric.
