Wild Card Watson he should have beat Ian final 2. Played a much better game with a much better strategy when his back was always against the wall and Ian just kind of used his awkward nerd role so people would take him far.
If Dan hadn't been a coach that season, he would have won. Ian deserved it a little more for having played a full game that season, but Dan was better.
I didn't like Dan on this season because I was rooting for Frank, but looking back on this today, I can now see how brilliant Dan was. He did such an amazing job playing to the housemates ego and in my opinion he is the best strategic big brother player of all time.
What I don’t get is why did Dan’s alliance plan on voting him out in the first place over Danielle like it was final 8 with 5 votes needing 3 to stay, Ian, Shane, and Brittany so the dumb thing is why were they planning on getting rid of him over Danielle if they could keep him
I remember seeing this for the first time. I'd just started becoming a fan of BB the year prior but after Boogie and Janelle left, i started to lose a bit of interest in this season. Then one evening, I turned the t.v. on and this episode was on. It was a no-brainer, Dan was next to go and the funeral moment to me was such a classy way to go out. But then, he turns it 180...coming up with this master plan. And i felt like i was watching the joker or Danny Ocean pull off some incredible social move. And the fact that it worked, honestly drew in me and my family for the rest of the season. And inspired me to watch the prior seasons and discover Dr. Will and all-stars, and honestly i never would've become a fan like i am now if it weren't for the captivation that Dan played with. it made me think and believe that you could actually play this game like an assassin, and sure the contestants are all bitter. But how are they fans? More than grateful
Dan is arguably one of the best to ever step in that house. I started watching the season before this so my memory is fuzzy... But if I'm not mistaken he finished 2nd one year, then came back this season to "coach" the others with 3 other former players. They all knew he was dangerous & they wanted to get rid of him before it got out of hand. He knew he was going to be put out so he basically mind-fucked everybody & stirred a bunch of disbelief. He went from being a lock to go home that week, to another 2nd place finisher... Very impressive. Not only do I support him cause we're both in the Metro Detroit area, but he really is one of, if not the smartest to ever play the game.
