I am sitting here in front of a store after a truly TERRIBLE week and my car refused to acknowledge my FOB. This was the most comprehensive video and it saved my morning. You are amazing. Thank you. I had NO idea that little slot for the key FOB was there.
It would not start today. No clue why it decided not to recognize the fob. Spent like 15 minutes trying to figure it out. Nothing. Walked away from the car with the fob, then it worked. So confused. Don't need this in my life.
Saw a dozen videos .Just bought my daughter a used nissan second day it didnt recognize the key. I freaked out,changed the fob battery,bought a new car battery and nothing. i finally saw your, and presto it worked. you made my 16 yr old daughter happy and me ,well im going to have a beer on you !!!!

Thanks a million , for hours I was worried and confused my car wont start because of no key detection .. I have a 2018 Nissan altima and all I did to start the car was to touch the key forb to the start button and it started like magic .. Thanks a million for this video it was 100 % accurate

Thank you! I was SO struggling how to get this Nissan Altima I just bought (2010), and one day after driving it, I could not get it to start. Other tutorials talked about making sure the brake key was inserted fully, or maybe getting the fob battery replaced, but this is the first video that mentioned inserting the fob in the slot to start the car and also at the same time resetting the fob to work - awesome sauce, great short tutorial, dude!

The intelligent key port is a great idea; however, the owner's manual is not at all clear that you stick the whole key fob in the port, not the key itself. Long story short, my local Nissan dealer said this is a very common issue they see...people getting the key that unlocks the door stuck in the intelligent key port. Yes, I did it. Thank you for this video!!

I have a Nissan Altima 2012 SE and usually when my battery runs out in the key fob I can eventually get it to respond and start the car but this time nothing except flashing key fob warning and my CD player of all things spit out a cd smh

Bro thank u so much it actually worked i was about to spend 300 on a new key at nissan and i change the batter nothing work first problem i had two different key fobs next to each other then i put it in the slot u said started instantly thank u so much for your information
Thank you so much ! I could find that little slot on my 2015. But touch the key to the ring worked ! The alarm still goes off when I try to lock it using the key fob but at least it cranks now until I can get it to a dealer !
My mother just had a problem where she had both. Arteries replaced and the guy had out the in backwards. We went to auto zone and that guy knew exactly what to do. Those guys are great.
