why should you not run vertical turbine pumps in thrust mode? When you run turbine pumps with a magnetic they jump straight to 60 Hertz why would jumping to 30 be bad? Thank you for all TH-cam videos they are extremely helpful!
Vertical Turbines do not have thrust bearings like those in a submersible motor therefore it’s not required for start initial ramp to seat the thrust bearings in the motor. If the customer elects to still keep thrust on (ramp to 30Hz in 1 sec.) there is nothing wrong with it, but there is no need to start a fast ramp on VT Motors.
Can i connect 3 pumps to a one single VFD P1000? At least one of them will be the lider pump and the other ones will be a "slaves", the slaves ones will be used to increase the caudal if needed, thanks in advance.
