      You could work this sweater using only 1 color and I guess it will look more "manly". For the collar part, you could work it repeating "1 wrap&knit and 1 purl" to make an elastic collar, for example

    I've looked everywhere for type of yarn you used. I think I found it on a site in Spanish, but not sure how I can get it in US. I know you said bulky yarn, but could you say how big the skeins are and what it's made off. The one site I found I thought it was described it as stretchy My Spanish is a bit rusty). Would Bernat blanket or baby yarn be similar? Thank you again for everything you do. I'm disabled and can't knit or crochet because of my tremors so loom knitting has been wonderful distraction for me and your videos so helpful for my tired brain.

    • @Tuteate
      @Tuteate  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hi there! The skeins I used are 100% merino wool and every skein is 3.5Oz - 109yrds. I used almost 7 skeins of that yarn.
      Any yarn you normally use with these kind of looms will work :) I think Bernat Blanket is even bulkier than the yarn I used, but I guess will work too :)

    • @Tuteate
      @Tuteate  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I guess I would use the 31-peg loom for the body and the 24-peg loom for the sleeves... But you'll need to work 20 rows or so to see if you are getting the width you want (you'll need to work a swap and see how many pegs &rows you'd need to get a 10cmx10cm (4"x4") square)

    Love the tutorial but I'm a little confused.
    Using a 41 peg ring, I bind off 10 from each side - leaving me with 21 pegs for the collar.
    Do that for both sides, that leaves me with two lots of 21 pegs which equals 42 - where do I put the extra loop?

      Hi Patty! By "Adult size" I just wanted to mention that I didn't make a child sweater. The result is quite wide, but to make it larger, you would need a larger number of pegs (you would need an infinity loom, for example), or you could work 2 panels and join them

    • @michellegordon9738
      @michellegordon9738 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey, I see this is an older question, but also that's its unanswered. I'm by no means an expert but have been loom knitting for a few years and have found that, with the exceptions of a very few times, there is no difference in wrapping and knitting all at once or one at a time, or even in smaller groups.

      or you can use an Infinity loom (S loom) and make 2 flat panels easily to the size you need for both front and back

      Or use flex pegs chunky one from KB. That will also work. Just measure how far your chest are. Just make sure you don’t use one extra peg since it’s odd number. 😊

    I thinking about knitting something like this with a polo for my 2year old but I'm having some trouble with how big i shouöd make The polo 🙈 my idea vas to make The top of this patern and then ad The polo after but my problem is that i have to make it big enaug to get over The head but not to big for The neck. Ive messaured that its 21cm betwen The shoulders and The head is isch 49cm around The biggest part wich makes it like 24cm in just The front (or back) 🙈 pleas help a mom out in how i should think 🙊🤯

      Hi Matilda! For a 2-year-old child, I guess I would use the 31-peg round loom to work the collar. This would mean to leave 16 loops on the front part (and 15 loops on the back part) to work the collar part. Hope this helps!

      Yes it is :) The front and the back part will just be 5 pegs narrower than mine
