Yes, you need to be bringing something to the table for others to engage with, a discussion to be a part of. I also read a comment on X about how gamedevs are some of the only people who consider progress updates or devlogs as "marketing,. I thought that was a keen point, especially in conjunction with not doing social media for self-promotion. Thanks!
Yeah man, I feel that. On top of that, I feel like it’s also tricky figuring out not just what you want to create but the intersection of what you want to create with what your audience wants to watch. I guess that’s why everyone refers to TH-cam as a “journey.”
If you want to reach out more, you could try uploading a little more often to gain more traction, then doing community posts. (Please don't take this as a "I'm going to unsubscribe if you don't do this" kind of thing, I'm fine with your current schedule) If you decide to do this though, PLEASE DO NOT RUSH YOURSELF!
