I mean, the commentator was doing his best with the type of game that ER is, he did some good questions and tried to not speak too much, but he obviously NEEDS to speak, that's his job. The hate is kinda undeserved, he did well, as a souls veteran, I enjoyed this a lot!
Nobody recognized Dinossingeil and Hob who were the first streamers to finish all 7 Soulsborne games back to back hitless (God Run 3?) And MissMikkaa who finished EldenRing with a true level 1 run without weapon upgrades? And Elajjaz another famous speedrunner? These people are better than 99% of the people dissing them. If they are struggling, then the DLC must be really difficult.

people did..breifly on stream but mostly they cut away every time so you needed to watch the streamers perspective....i feel your pain as a shield main since they litterally switched away every time someone pulled out a thrusting shield/

Cursed Blade Labirith has a similar moveset to Walker of Illusions from Lies of P... no wonder it looked so hard. They put the Walker in pitch black... and they combined that Walker moveset with Dancer of Boreal Valley from Dark Souls 3 and some other stuff.

Fromsoft has the mos incredible Skyboxes, I can't wait to see what they have in store in the DLC. My favorite part about each new place in Elden Ring is the different Skyboxes, Raya Lucaria has the best one by far, and Caelid. But they're all so pretty!

Yeah i read that they will be more difficult. The players were setup at level 150 going in on the preview so maybe going in fresh first might be the way.
i love the subtle difference between the headless Marika statue and the ones we see in the base game. in the base game her hands form the rune arc symbol. the hands are placed to make her look like the opposite of the rune of death. In this footage @3:56:48 of her headless statue, her hands are lowered instead of being above her shoulders and the palms are facing up. I wouldnt say it looks like the rune of death, however, the stance definitely different from the base-game statues. It might be from a time when her symbolism hadn't been solidified yet. Just speculation at this point.
i also think that the symbol that pops up when you cast glintstone nail and similar spells looks like the twisting trees off in the distance. the way the horns in the intertwine in the symbol of the spell reminded me of the scadutree (shadowtree), whicever one it is, and the tree spiraling around the tree bleeding gold. Might be a stretch but i figured that i would share anyway.
