    I used to drive an Autocar like that in the mid 70’s. We called them Anteaters. This was before the KW 600 came on the scene. I was driving for
    a tank outfit based out of Clarkson On. These where hooked to 4 axle “Jumbo’s “, I think we grossed out at 118.000 lbs. engine was a NTC 290.
    Good engine back in the day, but drastically under powered on long grades. You couldn’t see anything in the mirrors, as the truck vibrated so
    bad if you got down in the peak torque range. They were a beast to drive. We pulled hot asphalt with these units.

    Nice looking glimpses of a few trucks. Slow down a bit.
